About Me

Yosemite National Park in the Spring
Yosemite National Park in the Spring

There’s something truly special about the National Parks in the United States. Each time I visit one, I’m reminded of just how vast, diverse, and beautiful this country is. From towering mountains and lush forests to sweeping deserts and dramatic canyons, every park offers a unique experience. Yellowstone National Park is one of those places that you simply have to see to believe. As the first National Park in the world, it’s filled with geothermal wonders, from the famous Old Faithful geyser to the surreal, rainbow-hued Grand Prismatic Spring. But beyond the geothermal features, Yellowstone offers incredible wildlife sightings. The park is enormous, and every corner of it feels like stepping into a different world, whether you’re hiking through the Lamar Valley or marveling at the majestic Yellowstone Falls. Yosemite National Park offer sheer beauty. The first time I stood in Yosemite Valley, surrounded by towering granite cliffs like El Capitan and Half Dome, I was awestruck. The waterfalls here are some of the most spectacular I’ve ever seen—Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Fall, and Vernal Fall, to name a few. Hiking through the park, whether it’s a challenging trek to Glacier Point or a peaceful walk among the giant sequoias in Mariposa Grove, always leaves me feeling connected to nature. There’s something almost spiritual about Yosemite, especially when you watch the sunset turn the granite cliffs into a glowing shade of orange and pink. Death Valley National Park is like visiting another planet. It’s a place of extremes—the hottest, driest, and lowest place in North America. The landscape here is surreal, with its salt flats, sand dunes, and colorful mountains. I’ll never forget watching the sunrise over the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes or standing in the middle of Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America. Despite its harsh environment, there’s a stark beauty to Death Valley that’s hard to describe. The contrast between the bright blue sky and the stark, barren landscape is breathtaking, and the silence of the desert is something that’s rare to find anywhere else. Zion National Park is a place that feels both ancient and timeless. The towering red cliffs and deep canyons are unlike anything I’ve seen before. Hiking the Narrows, where you wade through the Virgin River surrounded by towering canyon walls, is one of the most unique experiences I’ve had in any National Park. And the view from the top of Angels Landing, after a challenging hike along narrow ridges, is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Zion’s beauty is almost otherworldly, and it’s a place that has a way of making you feel small in the best possible way. Just a short drive from Zion is Bryce Canyon National Park, which is like stepping into a fairy tale. The park is famous for its hoodoos—tall, thin rock spires that create a landscape that’s both strange and beautiful. I’ll never forget standing at Sunrise Point, watching the first light of day hit the orange and pink hoodoos, casting long shadows across the canyon. Hiking down into the canyon gives you a completely different perspective, as you walk among the towering spires that seem to glow in the sunlight. Bryce Canyon may be smaller than some of the other parks, but it’s packed with beauty and wonder. Olympic National Park, with its diverse ecosystems, is one of the most unique parks I’ve visited. From the rugged coastline with its tidepools and sea stacks to the lush rainforests filled with moss-covered trees, Olympic feels like several parks in one. I’ve spent hours exploring the Hoh Rainforest, where the trees seem to drip with greenery and the air is thick with the smell of damp earth. And the beaches along the Pacific coast are some of the most dramatic I’ve seen, with giant driftwood logs scattered along the shore and the sound of crashing waves filling the air. Olympic is a place where you can experience the wild, untamed beauty of the Pacific Northwest in all its glory. And then, of course, there’s the Grand Canyon. No matter how many photos you’ve seen, nothing prepares you for the moment you first look out over the edge of the canyon. The sheer size and scale of it is overwhelming. Hiking down into the canyon, along the Bright Angel Trail, gave me a whole new appreciation for the landscape. The layers of rock, each one telling a story of millions of years of Earth’s history, are a reminder of just how ancient and powerful nature is. Watching the sunset over the canyon, as the colors change from red to orange to purple, is one of those moments that stays with you forever. The National Parks are truly America’s greatest treasures. Each park offers its own unique experience, whether it’s the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone, the towering cliffs of Yosemite, or the otherworldly landscapes of Death Valley. I feel incredibly lucky to have explored so many of these incredible places, and I can’t wait to help others experience the beauty and wonder of the National Parks for themselves.

An Amazing Anniversary in Mexico!
Reviewed By Crystal & Rich - West Chester, Ohio | Traveled to Tulum ~ Mexico ~ Mexico
My husband and I recently celebrated our 15th anniversary with a dream trip to Mexico, and we have Emily to thank for making it unforgettable! We knew we wanted something special, and Emily delivered beyond our expectations. She recommended Tulum and Akumal, and it was the perfect mix of stunning beaches, rich history, and vibrant culture. From lounging on the soft sands and swimming in the clear blue waters to exploring the ancient Mayan ruins, every moment felt magical.

Emily’s attention to detail was exceptional—from finding us the most charming beachfront resort to suggesting local spots for authentic food and guiding us on the best tours for the cenotes and ruins. She even ensured we had a special anniversary dinner on the beach. It was everything we dreamed of and more. We couldn’t have planned this without her expertise, and we’re already thinking about our next adventure with her help.
