About Me

Hawai‘i is a dream destination, offering breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and a unique blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether you're island-hopping, exploring lush rainforests, or lounging on pristine beaches, there's something for everyone. The state consists of six main islands open to visitors, each with its own distinct character.

O‘ahu, known as "The Gathering Place," is home to Honolulu, Waikiki Beach, and Pearl Harbor, blending urban energy with historic sites and outdoor adventures like hiking Diamond Head or surfing the North Shore. Maui, "The Valley Isle," is famous for the scenic Road to Hana, whale watching, and the stunning sunrise at Haleakala National Park. It also boasts luxurious resorts and some of Hawai‘i’s most beautiful beaches.

Hawai‘i Island, commonly called the Big Island, is the largest and most geologically diverse of all the islands. It features everything from lush rainforests to volcanic deserts. Visitors can explore Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, home to Kilauea and Mauna Loa, two of the world’s most famous volcanoes. The island also offers breathtaking black sand beaches at Punalu‘u, the stunning waterfalls of Hilo, and the clear waters of Kealakekua Bay, ideal for snorkeling and diving. The Big Island is also famous for Mauna Kea, the tallest mountain in the world when measured from its base on the ocean floor. A visit to the summit offers an unparalleled stargazing experience.

Kaua‘i, "The Garden Isle," is known for its dramatic Napali Coast cliffs, the Wailua River, and the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, often called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." For a quieter escape, Lana‘i offers rugged backroads, secluded beaches, and luxurious resorts, with Keahiakawelo (the Garden of the Gods) showcasing unique rock formations. Meanwhile, Moloka‘i, the most culturally authentic of the islands, is home to Kalaupapa National Historical Park, the longest fringing reef in the U.S., and some of the most unspoiled landscapes in Hawai‘i.

Traveling between the islands is easy with inter-island flights from Hawaiian Airlines and Mokulele Airlines. Rental cars are essential for exploring, especially on larger islands like the Big Island and Maui, while public transport is mainly available on O‘ahu. Guided tours are also a great way to see major attractions, and a ferry connects Maui to Lana‘i.

Hawai‘i is a year-round destination, but the best times to visit are April through June and September through November when the weather is pleasant and crowds are smaller. Winter (December to March) is ideal for whale watching and surfing, but it’s also peak tourist season. Summer (July and August) is warm and dry, attracting more families.

No trip to Hawai‘i is complete without experiencing its natural and cultural wonders. Snorkeling at Molokini Crater or Hanauma Bay, exploring the waterfalls along the Road to Hana, visiting Pearl Harbor, taking a helicopter tour over the Napali Coast, witnessing lava flows at Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, and attending an authentic lu‘au are just a few must-do activities. Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or cultural experiences, Hawai‘i offers an unforgettable journey filled with natural beauty and the aloha spirit.

Trip throughout Japan

Michael made arrangements for us to travel from Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Hakone by bullet train to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. He arranged all the activities for us and made it so easy! We overnighted in Hiroshima and even visited a Shinto temple on Miyajima. Then back to Osaka and home! We did just the right amount of sightseeing. Michael was a tremendous help and Advisor.

My husband and I went to Greece for two weeks, and had the most amazing time. We went island hopping, from Cypress to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos. Michael was tremendously helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. He even made some special plans for our anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for more :)
Michael Bitsas responded
"Glad to make your Greek island anniversary trip special and memorable! May you enjoy many more years - and anniversary trips! and other travel plans together. "

Turkey
Reviewed By Ptrz - Villa Park, CA | Traveled to Turkey | Middle East
Mike planned our trip to central Turkey. We flew into Ankara and spent a few days there, visiting museums and historical sites. We took the bus to Cappadocia, which was amazing! We then made our way to the old Roman town of Antalya, and the Roman ruins were very interesting. Then we flew back to Istanbul as a finale, stayed 3 days, and flew home. What a fascinating and enjoyable trip!
Michael Bitsas responded

One of My Top Travel Experiences - Australia
Reviewed By MMachelle - Chicago | Traveled to Australia | Australia & New Zealand
I used them to book my trip to Australia and I was extremely pleased with everything. It started with a conversation of where, when, etc. and it translated into a seamless & well organized trip. My flight to LA with a connecting flight to Melbourne went without a hitch. Mr. Bitsas is well traveled and was able to recommend some places he experienced when he went to Australia. He also connected me to this couple that reside in Australia that further elevated my experience. While in Australia, we mostly stayed in Melbourne but also flew into Sydney, took a ferry, stayed in a chalet, visited several animal parks. It truly was an experience. I loved my flight as I love planes. I appreciated my travel arrangements as all of my questions were answered, flights made, recommendations given and a lasting memory made. Highly recommend using Michael.
