Cyprus isn’t just a destination—it’s an experience. Nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, this island blends ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality in a way that captivates every traveler. Whether you're drawn to sun-soaked beaches, archaeological wonders, or the mouthwatering flavors of Cypriot cuisine, this island has something for everyone.

From the moment you set foot in Cyprus, you feel the layers of history beneath you. In Nicosia, the last divided capital in the world, the blend of Greek and Turkish influences creates a fascinating cultural tapestry. Strolling through its old town, you’ll pass Ottoman-era architecture, vibrant markets, and quaint cafés where locals sip on traditional Cypriot coffee. Head west to Paphos, where mythology meets reality. Known as the birthplace of Aphrodite, this coastal city is home to stunning archaeological sites like the Tombs of the Kings and intricate Roman mosaics. The sea breeze carries whispers of ancient legends as you explore its UNESCO-listed treasures.

For those who crave adventure, the Troodos Mountains offer a refreshing escape from the coastline. Here, charming villages, Byzantine monasteries, and scenic hiking trails reveal a different side of Cyprus—one where nature and tradition intertwine seamlessly. Meanwhile, the golden beaches of Ayia Napa and Protaras boast crystal-clear waters, making them ideal for relaxation, water sports, or simply soaking in the Mediterranean sun.

No journey is complete without indulging in the island’s rich culinary scene. Halloumi cheese, grilled to perfection, is a staple on every menu. Fresh seafood, slow-cooked lamb kleftiko, and the meze experience—a feast of small traditional dishes—bring people together in the heart of Cypriot hospitality. And don’t forget to sip on locally-produced Commandaria wine, one of the oldest named wines in the world. The flavors of Cyprus tell a story, one that is deeply rooted in the island’s history and culture.

For those planning a trip, a few practical tips can enhance the experience. The best time to visit is in spring (April–June) or autumn (September–November) when the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are thinner. Renting a car is the best way to explore beyond the cities, though public transport is available in urban areas. The official currency is the euro (€), and while Greek and Turkish are the main languages, English is widely spoken, making communication easy for visitors. A warm "Kalimera" (good morning) goes a long way, and respecting local traditions will make your experience even more memorable.

Cyprus is more than just an island—it’s a journey through time, flavors, and landscapes that leave a lasting impression. Whether you’re basking on the beaches of Ayia Napa, uncovering history in Limassol, or getting lost in the charm of Lefkara, every corner of Cyprus tells a story. And once you’ve experienced it, you'll find yourself longing to return. So, is Cyprus calling your name? Pack your bags and let the adventure begin!

Trip throughout Japan

Michael made arrangements for us to travel from Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Hakone by bullet train to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. He arranged all the activities for us and made it so easy! We overnighted in Hiroshima and even visited a Shinto temple on Miyajima. Then back to Osaka and home! We did just the right amount of sightseeing. Michael was a tremendous help and Advisor.

My husband and I went to Greece for two weeks, and had the most amazing time. We went island hopping, from Cypress to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos. Michael was tremendously helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. He even made some special plans for our anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for more :)

Turkey

Mike planned our trip to central Turkey. We flew into Ankara and spent a few days there, visiting museums and historical sites. We took the bus to Cappadocia, which was amazing! We then made our way to the old Roman town of Antalya, and the Roman ruins were very interesting. Then we flew back to Istanbul as a finale, stayed 3 days, and flew home. What a fascinating and enjoyable trip!

One of My Top Travel Experiences - Australia
Reviewed By MMachelle - Chicago | Traveled to Australia | Australia & New Zealand
I used them to book my trip to Australia and I was extremely pleased with everything. It started with a conversation of where, when, etc. and it translated into a seamless & well organized trip. My flight to LA with a connecting flight to Melbourne went without a hitch. Mr. Bitsas is well traveled and was able to recommend some places he experienced when he went to Australia. He also connected me to this couple that reside in Australia that further elevated my experience. While in Australia, we mostly stayed in Melbourne but also flew into Sydney, took a ferry, stayed in a chalet, visited several animal parks. It truly was an experience. I loved my flight as I love planes. I appreciated my travel arrangements as all of my questions were answered, flights made, recommendations given and a lasting memory made. Highly recommend using Michael.
