Finland, known for its breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities, and rich cultural heritage, is a traveler's dream. Whether you're drawn to its modern urban centers, pristine nature, or unique traditions, Finland offers something for every kind of explorer. With an efficient and reliable transportation network, getting around the country is easy. The national railway, VR, connects major cities like Helsinki, Tampere, and Rovaniemi, while long-distance buses such as OnniBus and Matkahuolto reach remote areas. Domestic flights link Helsinki with Lapland and other distant destinations, and renting a car is ideal for scenic road trips like the Archipelago Trail. For those exploring Finland’s coast, boats and ferries provide access to stunning island destinations like Åland.

Helsinki, the stylish capital, blends modern design with historical charm. Visitors can explore Suomenlinna Fortress, Helsinki Cathedral, and the vibrant Design District. Market Square is a great spot to experience Finnish cuisine, and day trips to Porvoo’s old town or Nuuksio National Park offer a taste of history and nature. In the far north, Lapland is an Arctic wonderland known for its winter magic, Northern Lights, and indigenous Sámi culture. Visitors can enjoy husky sledding, reindeer safaris, and snowshoeing in the winter or take advantage of the midnight sun, hiking trails, and lake fishing during the summer. A trip to Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi brings holiday cheer year-round.

For nature lovers, the Lakeland region is a paradise, home to thousands of lakes, lush forests, and peaceful retreats. Lake Saimaa, Finland’s largest lake, is perfect for canoeing and lakeside saunas, while Olavinlinna Castle in Savonlinna offers a glimpse into medieval history. On the west coast, Turku, Finland’s oldest city, is a gateway to the beautiful Turku Archipelago. Visitors can stroll along the River Aura, explore Turku Castle, or cycle the scenic Archipelago Trail. Further north, the Kvarken Archipelago, a UNESCO-listed site, showcases unique geological formations and a blend of Swedish-Finnish culture.

Finland offers different experiences throughout the year. Winter, from December to March, is perfect for snow activities and witnessing the Northern Lights. Spring, from April to May, brings longer days and blooming nature. Summer, from June to August, offers the midnight sun, festivals, and lake activities, while autumn, from September to November, is known for its stunning fall colors and peaceful atmosphere. Unique Finnish experiences include sauna culture, with smoke saunas in Jyväskylä or modern sauna complexes like Löyly in Helsinki. Visitors can also enjoy berry and mushroom picking in Finland’s vast forests, experience traditional Midsummer celebrations with bonfires and folk music, or visit reindeer and husky farms in Lapland.

Whether you're seeking adventure, cultural experiences, or a peaceful retreat into nature, Finland offers an unforgettable journey. Its blend of modernity and deep connection to nature makes it one of the most unique travel destinations in the world.

Trip throughout Japan

Michael made arrangements for us to travel from Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Hakone by bullet train to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. He arranged all the activities for us and made it so easy! We overnighted in Hiroshima and even visited a Shinto temple on Miyajima. Then back to Osaka and home! We did just the right amount of sightseeing. Michael was a tremendous help and Advisor.

Greek Delight!

My husband and I went to Greece for two weeks, and had the most amazing time. We went island hopping, from Cypress to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos. Michael was tremendously helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. He even made some special plans for our anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for more :)
Michael Bitsas responded
"Glad to make your Greek island anniversary trip special and memorable! May you enjoy many more years - and anniversary trips! and other travel plans together. "

Turkey
Reviewed By Ptrz - Villa Park, CA | Traveled to Turkey | Middle East
Mike planned our trip to central Turkey. We flew into Ankara and spent a few days there, visiting museums and historical sites. We took the bus to Cappadocia, which was amazing! We then made our way to the old Roman town of Antalya, and the Roman ruins were very interesting. Then we flew back to Istanbul as a finale, stayed 3 days, and flew home. What a fascinating and enjoyable trip!
Michael Bitsas responded
"I am so glad that you thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Turkey! Please let me know when you're ready to travel again. It'll be a pleasure to work with you again soon."
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

One of My Top Travel Experiences - Australia
Reviewed By MMachelle - Chicago | Traveled to Australia | Australia & New Zealand
I used them to book my trip to Australia and I was extremely pleased with everything. It started with a conversation of where, when, etc. and it translated into a seamless & well organized trip. My flight to LA with a connecting flight to Melbourne went without a hitch. Mr. Bitsas is well traveled and was able to recommend some places he experienced when he went to Australia. He also connected me to this couple that reside in Australia that further elevated my experience. While in Australia, we mostly stayed in Melbourne but also flew into Sydney, took a ferry, stayed in a chalet, visited several animal parks. It truly was an experience. I loved my flight as I love planes. I appreciated my travel arrangements as all of my questions were answered, flights made, recommendations given and a lasting memory made. Highly recommend using Michael.
