Machu Pikchu

Peru is one of the most diverse and fascinating travel destinations in the world, offering breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural history, and incredible cuisine. Whether you're exploring ancient ruins, trekking through the Andes, or experiencing vibrant cities, Peru has something for every traveler.

No trip to Peru is complete without visiting Machu Picchu, the awe-inspiring Incan citadel hidden in the Andes. You can reach it via the famous Inca Trail, the Salkantay Trek, or by train from Cusco through the beautiful Sacred Valley, which is home to charming towns like Ollantaytambo and Pisac, known for their ruins and bustling markets. Just a short journey away, Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, offers a stunning blend of colonial architecture and Incan heritage. Visitors can explore the historic center, visit the impressive Sacsayhuamán ruins, and enjoy delicious Peruvian dishes in local restaurants.

Lima, the country’s capital, is a must-visit for food lovers. Renowned for its world-class cuisine, the city is famous for ceviche and pisco sours. Travelers can explore the vibrant neighborhoods of Miraflores and Barranco, admire the colonial architecture in the historic center, and take in breathtaking coastal views from the Malecón. Further south, Arequipa, known as the "White City" for its volcanic stone architecture, is a charming destination with beautiful plazas and a rich cultural scene. Nearby, Colca Canyon offers some of the best trekking in Peru and is home to the majestic Andean condor.

For those looking to explore the highlands, Lake Titicaca, the largest lake in South America, is a unique destination where visitors can experience the floating Uros Islands and interact with indigenous communities who maintain their centuries-old way of life. In contrast, adventurers seeking a jungle experience can explore the Amazon Rainforest via Iquitos or Puerto Maldonado, where eco-lodges provide access to incredible biodiversity and exotic wildlife.

Hiking enthusiasts should not miss Huaraz and the Cordillera Blanca, a paradise for trekkers and mountaineers. Stunning trails like Laguna 69 and the Santa Cruz Trek are surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the Andes. Meanwhile, history and mystery lovers can visit the Nazca Lines, massive geoglyphs carved into the desert that remain one of Peru’s greatest enigmas. Nearby, the Ballestas Islands, often called the "poor man’s Galápagos," are teeming with sea lions, penguins, and seabirds.

When planning a trip to Peru, it’s important to consider a few travel tips. The best time to visit is during the dry season (May to September), which is ideal for trekking and exploring the Andes, though the Amazon remains accessible year-round. Due to the high elevation of many destinations, travelers should prepare for altitude sickness by staying hydrated, taking it slow, and drinking coca tea. Transportation options include domestic flights for long distances, scenic yet affordable buses, and train journeys for Machu Picchu and the Andean highlands. While Peru is generally safe for travelers, it’s always wise to be cautious in big cities and tourist areas by keeping an eye on your belongings and using registered taxis.

Whether you're an adventurer, history lover, or foodie, Peru offers an unforgettable travel experience.

Trip throughout Japan

Michael made arrangements for us to travel from Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Hakone by bullet train to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. He arranged all the activities for us and made it so easy! We overnighted in Hiroshima and even visited a Shinto temple on Miyajima. Then back to Osaka and home! We did just the right amount of sightseeing. Michael was a tremendous help and Advisor.

My husband and I went to Greece for two weeks, and had the most amazing time. We went island hopping, from Cypress to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos. Michael was tremendously helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. He even made some special plans for our anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for more :)
Michael Bitsas responded

Turkey
Reviewed By Ptrz - Villa Park, CA | Traveled to Turkey | Middle East
Mike planned our trip to central Turkey. We flew into Ankara and spent a few days there, visiting museums and historical sites. We took the bus to Cappadocia, which was amazing! We then made our way to the old Roman town of Antalya, and the Roman ruins were very interesting. Then we flew back to Istanbul as a finale, stayed 3 days, and flew home. What a fascinating and enjoyable trip!
Michael Bitsas responded

One of My Top Travel Experiences - Australia
Reviewed By MMachelle - Chicago | Traveled to Australia | Australia & New Zealand
I used them to book my trip to Australia and I was extremely pleased with everything. It started with a conversation of where, when, etc. and it translated into a seamless & well organized trip. My flight to LA with a connecting flight to Melbourne went without a hitch. Mr. Bitsas is well traveled and was able to recommend some places he experienced when he went to Australia. He also connected me to this couple that reside in Australia that further elevated my experience. While in Australia, we mostly stayed in Melbourne but also flew into Sydney, took a ferry, stayed in a chalet, visited several animal parks. It truly was an experience. I loved my flight as I love planes. I appreciated my travel arrangements as all of my questions were answered, flights made, recommendations given and a lasting memory made. Highly recommend using Michael.
