So I know you're looking to see the theme parks or beaches in Florida, I've got you covered! I was born in Tampa, FL, and raised here most all of my life! I don't see myself ever really leaving this beautiful state! I love the convenience of everything my state offers! We have pristine beaches, theme parks full of thrills, more springs than you can count, and more sun than most of us can handle! My childhood was spent mostly at the beaches, rivers, and springs but I surely didn't miss out on the theme parks either!

So a little insight to some of my most memorable trips...

On our first Wedding Anniversary, my husband and I took our first trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. Neither of us had ever been, and we didn't even plan on gambling, we wanted to explore the city and what it had to offer! We went to the wax museum, which was something we usually skip out on in Orlando, but I'm so glad we went! The wax art is phenomenal! Another day we went to Area 15 which is a modern art exhibit that offers fun activities and even an immersive sound room that you CANNOT miss if you decide to go! I really enjoyed Stratosphere and the thrill rides at the very top, you can see the entire valley! Luckily, we went at sunset and got to see the most beautiful views of the mountain range that encircles the city! We went to the Eiffel Tower, which for me was a little more scary than stratosphere, did I mention that I am afraid of heights? At least we got a great show of the Bellagio fountains while we were at the top! One of my favorite moments was going into the nature! Red Rocks Canyon is a magnificent sight to see! We were in awe to see the beauty that the hiking trails had to offer! It was one of our greatest days! Then there's Lee Canyon, where you can actually see snow! We went to the ski resort and just spent the day watching people ski while we sipped our cappuccinos and had some snacks!

Now that I have a husband and two children of my own to travel with, it makes exploring four times the fun! When I went on my babymoon to Pompano Beach with my husband and three year old, I got to enjoy the wonder and excitement on my little boy's face while he was exploring new places with his parents! He marveled over the fact that there were iguanas roaming through the beach's trees and shrubs! We even got to watch them climb the resort trees in the garden while we sat on the balcony of our resort! It is a whole new level of thrill to travel to new places with your children! Life is so much more full, so much more fun with them around!

Last Year, I went on a trip to Curitiba, Brazil with my family! Wow, what an incredible experience that was! The people were so pleasant and friendly! There are so many fabulous malls, parks, and gardens to see! I was fascinated to see that all of the sidewalks are beautiful rocks, laid in the most perfect pathway, and they are constantly pulling the weeds and replacing rocks to keep it so perfect! We went on a trip about an hour away to a very rural city called Morretes, where there were fine restaurants and a little market where they sold handmade goods, food, and Cachaca (Brazilian aged Rum). The all famous Caipirinha that you would find in most Brazilian steakhouses is made from Cachaca and when I tell you they had an endless amount of flavors and varieties, I'm not joking, it was so intriguing to me! Morretes is known for a dish called Barreado, which they craft homemade daily! I had never had anything like it! I thoroughly enjoyed my trip, I learned so much about the culture of South Brazil, and I cannot wait to go back!

Our big trip this year is to Walt Disney World, we are taking our youngest for his first visit and I cannot wait to see my two boys wander the parks together, taking everything in, enjoying the amazing rides and food with each other! They are best friends and they are the biggest explorers of the family, even more so than their Mommy! It's going to be a big one for us to remember! We are staying at a Disney Resort and we've already made dining reservations to some of our favorite park restaurants that we'd like to experience with the boys!

As you can see, I don't like to stay in one place or even go to one place many times, I like to try different experiences and get a feel for it all, so that I can live life to the fullest by doing what I love, TRAVELING!
