"Not all that wander, are lost"-JR Token

Hiya! My name is Johanna Nicholson and I am a Special Education Teacher and Travel Advisor! The older I get, the more I understand the joy of embracing all the weirdness that is me. I now channel that joy into finding places that bring joy, create peace, and inspire memories.

I have always loved to explore and have always had an insatiable desire for adventure. Following in the footsteps of my first hero, (Anne of Green Gables) I was never short of stories from my ever-present journeys. Being a kid in the 80s and 90s, amongst the driest and hottest part of West Texas left those far-away kingdoms of distant lands doomed to live forever in my imagination.

Now, I'm a bit of gypsy! I have an unquenchable desire to see this world before it is no longer mine to be seen. I have found the waves of the Ocean seen from a balcony stateroom to be as awe-inspiring as the heart-stopping rush of roller-coasters, (The Veloci-Coaster in Jurassic World Universal FL. being my personal favorite of all time)! I have found the whispering plains and mountains of Yellowstone just as majestic as the city lights shinning brightly from the top of the Astoria bridge. Magic is everywhere, you just might need some help to find it.

Currently, I am a Middle School Special Education teacher by day and a Travel Advisor by night specializing in creating family vacations that create those core memories. I am also an advocate for children and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and actively search for itineraries that include sensory friendly locations and accessible enrichment opportunities. These awesome extras are not limited to just children! I am also the wife of a Wounded Warrior and am consistently on the look out for opportunities that offer de-escalation stations that allow for easy access to less populated areas.

It would be my privilege to create a vacation plan designed with your family in mind. Whether that's a cruise to The Bahamas when the rest of the world is living in sweaters and blue jeans, a 10-day expedition to the ancient Pyramids of Giza, or maybe a magic broomstick ride through the Forbidden Forest,  I've got you covered!
