Midtown Wonders
Morning: New York Public Library
•Location: The iconic main branch is the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at 476 Fifth Avenue (at 42nd Street). The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (SNFL) at 455 Fifth Avenue is a new, modern location with a dedicated children's center.
•Why it's great for toddlers: It's a fantastic, free indoor space. Many branches, including the SNFL, offer story times and other kid-friendly events. It's a great place to escape the weather and let a toddler explore a new environment.
•Cost: Free for all.
Afternoon: Bryant Park
•Location: Between 40th and 42nd Streets & Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
•Why it's great for toddlers: This is a beautiful, free urban park with a lot to offer. There's a carousel (which may have a small fee), a large lawn for running around, and a reading room with books for all ages, including toddlers. They also have free activities and games, so check their schedule online.
•Cost: Free to enter and enjoy the park.

Military Museum and Shopping day
Morning: Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
•Location: Pier 86, W 46th St.
•Why it's great for toddlers: Toddlers will be amazed by the size of the aircraft carrier. The museum features many interactive exhibits, including the Space Shuttle Enterprise and a collection of military aircraft.
•Cost: Free for military families (be sure to check the specific guest policy and bring your ID). The toddler will be free due to their age.
Afternoon: Stroll around Fifth Avenue Mid town
•Location: It runs from 49th st to 60th st with different brands and elegant shopping streets in the world.
•Cost: Free

Central Park Exploration
Morning: Central Park Zoo
•Location: The zoo is located at East 64th Street and Fifth Avenue within Central Park.
•Why it's great for toddlers: It's a small, manageable zoo that is perfect for little legs. It has a great variety of animals, including penguins, sea lions, and snow leopards. The Tisch Children's Zoo is also included and is designed specifically for young children with a petting zoo.
•Cost: The military member gets free admission, and a toddler (2 and under) is always free.
Afternoon: Central Park Playgrounds and Sights
•Location: Central Park is huge, but there are several playgrounds and sights near the zoo.
•Why it's great for toddlers: Central Park has numerous playgrounds. One of the most popular is Heckscher Playground, located near the southern end of the park. It's an excellent place for toddlers to run, climb, and play. You can also have a picnic, walk around the pond, or just people-watch.
•Cost: Free.

Upper West Side Museums
Morning: Children's Museum of Manhattan (CMOM)
•Location: 212 W 83rd St.
•Why it's great for toddlers: This museum is designed for young children with hands-on, interactive exhibits. It's a great place for a toddler to engage in creative play and discovery.
•Cost: Free for military members and up to five guests (verify this policy directly with the museum).
Afternoon: American Museum of Natural History
•Location: 200 Central Park West.
•Why it's great for toddlers: The dinosaur exhibits are a must-see. Toddlers are often captivated by the massive skeletons. The museum also has a great section for young children with interactive and sensory exhibits.
•Cost: The museum has a "pay-what-you-wish" admission for the general public, but it's free for military members up to 5 guests.
