Costa Rica Pura Vida

Couldn’t have asked for anybody better to plan our group trip to Hawaii. She was patient with us all, as we were just a group of friends planning a huge trip together. She got us ziplining, shark cage diving, skydiving (some of us haha), hiking, rental cars, hotels, and more. Can’t wait for the next one.

Wanted to book an Asian vacation for the beauty and affordability. I saw that Kalyn had a bunch of experience in the region so I asked her to make me up an itinerary. Landed on the Philippines. It was epic. She made maneuvering around all the islands easy and kept to my budget. I still got to stay in quality hotels and see and do TONS of stuff due to the country’s prices. Glad she told me not to miss out on whale sharks in Oslob or island hopping and nightlife on Palawan.

Our family trip to Costa Rica was perfect thanks to Kalyn. The accommodations were family-friendly and exceeded our expectations. Costa Rica is so diverse- we found ourselves on beaches, seeing all sorts of new animals, and enjoying several tours. The kids had the time of their lives, and were constantly entertained. I love that they are of the age to never forget it, so we truly thank you for all the hard work you put into booking this for us.

Me and my husband were looking for both an adventurous and relaxing honeymoon somewhere different than all the rest. I gave some of our likes and dislikes to Kalyn and she came back with Vietnam. Not something I would have thought of on my own, but we decided to go for it after seeing the itinerary and it was amazing. Hanoi was a crazy city, but wildly fun. From there we toured the stunning Ha Long Bay. We also went rappelling in Dalat, and that’s where I learned how to ride a motorbike, which we rode to a bunch of nearby waterfalls. To end our journey, I didn’t even know Phu Quoc existed but it was a paradise! It’s an island off the west coast. Gorgeous beaches, stunning sunsets, and a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much!!!

Kalyn planned an incredible trip to Guatemala for me. It was the first solo trip I had taken and I was nervous to do it alone (especially as a woman), but she was with me every step of the way. From exploring the northern ruins of Tikal, to relaxing in every town at Lake Atitlan, and hiking up several volcanoes, every moment was unforgettable. I met loads of people too. Her recommendations were fantastic and I truly had an amazing experience.

Kalyn got me and my bachelor party flights into Lisbon and out of Porto. Honestly with my wedding party living all over the states, the pressure this process took off all of us was very necessary. There were 9 of us and Kalyn kept everything organized. She led us to the Douro Valley for a wine tour and got us the best location of hotels in the cities for the night life.

We were a group of young parents traveling to Montego Bay and Negril for a week. Kalyn was able to find us hotels that had childcare for our little ones while us adults went on our private tours she set up. We felt safe the entire time ourselves, but especially leaving the kids with the staff at the resorts. They enjoyed their days as we got some time for adult activities too. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.

My husband and I had the most amazing experiences island hopping southern Thailand. Kalyn booked us the boats, the excursions, and the all inclusive resorts from Phuket to Koh Lanta. We also learned how to scuba dive after she suggested it was an incredible place to do so. I never thought I would do something like that, but we LOVE it now. Best 2 weeks of our lives. Kalyn was able to provide a structured and stress-free travel experience for me and my kids, especially because she's been on most of the trails herself. We were all even able to helicopter over the Grand Canyon together, which was magical.

We had no idea how many modes of transportation it takes to get all the way to the world wonder of Machu Picchu but Kalyn made it easy, and boy was it worth it! Very knowledgeable and communicative.

After an attempt at planning for a trip to Costa Rica for me and two other family members, I decided I needed help. After doing some web research, I found Kalyn Reinardy. After a virtual introduction and some questions, I felt comfortable enough to start working with her. Initial planning included what types of activities did we want to do, what parts of Costa Rica to see, what kind of lodging, and transport. Then to decide on dates of travel along with a budget. She developed an initial plan which we reviewed and changes were made as needed. A really neat thing was that she had a document itinerary on the web with subtitled sections so we could easily review at our convenience and get back to Kalyn as needed. The design of the trip met what we had discussed earlier: able to visit different areas of Costa Rica and activities that were primarily nature or ecosystem related and were of easy to moderate exertion.
