I love learning about the local customs, history, and also enjoy the nature, arts and architectures of the places that I am visiting. Being a bit of a bookworm, I love reading historical books about the places I'm visiting prior to my trip whenever I can. One of the best feelings when I have a great itinerary is the feeling that I am getting the most out of my vacation. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I love to indulge in all inclusive resorts or cruises where everything is in one place; I don't need to drive nor think about where to get food or what activity to go to.
