During my 25 year career as a travel consultant, I've had the pleasure of honing my skills with such companies as American Express Travel, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and Vacation Express.  Had it not been for them, I would have never had the opportunity to travel to such places as Greece, Spain, France, Costa Rica, the Canadian Rockies and several islands throughout the Caribbean.

Needless to say, the travel industry has been good to me!  And, I love sharing my passion for travel with other people who also enjoy traveling and seeing history come to life, embracing a diversity of other cultures, and stepping outside of your typical travel comfort zone.

My past travels are almost like my children.  It's hard to pick a favorite destination, because I enjoyed them all.  But, if I had to pick one that stands out in my mind, it would be Costa Rica!  If I ever had the opportunity, and money, I'd probably retire there.  The people are so warm, the landscape is breath taking, and as they say, "Pura Vida," meaning pure life!  My wife and I visited there several years ago, and would love to go back again with our daughter.

One of my most memorable family vacations was just a couple of years ago, when we decided to take a Spring Break Cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic.  It is a fantastic ship with plenty to do for both young and mature crowds.  You can go bowling, enjoy the water park, take in a show with Blue Man Group or Cirque du Soleil, or just relax on the sun deck or in their fabulous spa, while the kids stay occupied at the Kids Club.  We had a blast!
