How I Got Into the Travel Business

I’ve always had a love for travel, and for years, I helped friends and family plan their trips. After several personal losses, I realized how short life can be and how important it is to live in the moment and follow your passions. That’s when I decided to turn my love for travel into a career, helping others create the travel experiences they’ll cherish forever.

Why I’m Passionate About Travel

Travel excites me because it’s about more than just visiting new places—it’s about making connections with people, discovering new cultures, and gaining fresh perspectives on life. Every trip I’ve taken has introduced me to new “vacation friends” and taught me something valuable. Talking to strangers and embracing vulnerability has helped me grow emotionally, while also deepening my empathy and compassion for others.

My Experience

Although I’m relatively new to the travel industry, I’ve been helping friends and family plan vacations for years, particularly to Walt Disney World. I’m always expanding my knowledge and currently working on certifications for so I can offer even more incredible options to my clients.

My Approach to Customer Service

I firmly believe in treating others the way I’d like to be treated. For me, great customer service is about kindness, really listening to what clients want, and giving them the time and attention they deserve. Many clients come to me because they value their time and don’t want to spend months planning their trips. My goal is to take stress out of the process and create a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Specializations

My specialty lies in theme park vacations—especially to Disney, Universal, and other popular parks. I also focus on Caribbean vacations, including cruises and all-inclusive resorts. Additionally, I’m expanding into international destinations, and I’m excited to offer these new options to my clients.

Sustainable and responsible tourism is very important to me. I make sure to partner with suppliers that prioritize eco-friendly practices and cultural respect. I also encourage my clients to take small actions—like using reef-safe sunscreen or packing reusable water bottles—to help minimize their environmental footprint. I believe that every small step contributes to making travel more sustainable for all of us.
