Life on the river is just better! I truly agree with this statement, especially pertaining to a river cruise. There is something very unique about viewing the landscape around you from the water. Whether it's Rhine River Gorge, the Wachau Valley, the Eiffel Tower, or even the banks of the Mississippi, you get a different perspective!

What makes a river cruise so wonderful? Well, there are so many things. River cruising has become a very popular way to experience Europe. For example, AmaWaterways has partnered with Adventures by Disney on select sailings, Tauck has family tours & cruises called Tauck Bridges, and Uniworld has Generations, which are sailings with programming designed for families. There are also itineraries for specific interests such as music, wine, and history. And don't forget about the European Christmas Markets!
