Vacations are supposed to be relaxing… until the airlines decide to add a little “adventure” on the trip home! I want to give a huge shout-out to Designed Getaways especially Dana. She only booked my airline tickets, but the moment my flight was delayed and I found myself unexpectedly spending extra time in Bismarck, North Dakota, she immediately reached out to see if there was anything she could do. She certainly didn’t have to—flight delays happen—but she jumped into action anyway, working with the airline and even lining up an alternate flight for me if I needed it. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and I am so grateful for her kindness and dedication. Sometimes it’s not the vacation that leaves the biggest impression—it’s the people who step up when things don’t go according to plan.
