Luxury Barcelona Transfer for a Bougie Moment

I'm Angelique Thompson, founder of Expedition Adventure Travel Co., based in Missouri. I specialize in travel for people who want their vacations to feel like more than a reservation confirmation—they want an experience they're genuinely excited to have.

My specialties include Disney destinations, Universal, Disney Cruise Line, Virgin Voyages, and ocean cruising, with a particular love for theme parks, immersive experiences, and travel that gives people the opportunity to step outside their ordinary lives for a while. My husband and I have personally visited eight of the twelve Disney parks around the world, and firsthand experience matters to me. I don't just rely on supplier training; I spend time experiencing the destinations and products I recommend so I can offer insight that comes from actually being there.

My most aligned clients are adults, couples, families, and groups who value the experience of travel and enjoy being part of the planning process. You might come to me knowing exactly what you want, or you might have a destination in mind and no idea what you actually want to do once you get there. Either way, I love helping you turn possibility into a trip you can picture yourself taking.

My planning style is personal, practical, and detail-oriented. I'll help you navigate the logistics, keep an eye on the details that can affect your trip, and make sure you understand your options without drowning you in information. I'm also going to get excited with you. If there's something I'm particularly enthusiastic about, you're probably going to hear about it—and if you've discovered your own travel hyperfocus, I'm absolutely here for that too. I've been told that my excitement is contagious, and I think that's one of the best parts of this work.

I also offer neurodivergent-friendly travel planning for clients who may need additional consideration around sensory experiences, pacing, flexibility, and the general overwhelm that can come with travel. That flexibility extends to the planning process, too. If you need something explained a few different ways, want multiple conversations to work through the details, or understand information better in writing than over a call or video, I'm happy to meet you where you are. I believe good travel planning should work with the person taking the trip, rather than asking them to force themselves into someone else's idea of the perfect vacation.

At the heart of my approach is a belief in the power of imagination. Whether you're dreaming about walking into a Disney park, exploring a new destination, or spending a week at sea on Virgin Voyages, I want you to have room to get excited about what could happen. Travel doesn't always unfold exactly as we imagined—and that's okay. My favorite travelers are curious, playful, willing to dream a little, and able to roll with the unexpected when the adventure takes an unplanned turn.

I'm here to bring the professionalism, experience, and attention to detail that make a complicated trip feel manageable, while still leaving plenty of room for the fun of imagining where you're going. If you're looking for someone who will care about the details and get genuinely excited about your adventure, we may be a very good fit.
