Private Luxury Tours for Europe & Morocco

My family and I are fortunate to spend our time between our homes in France, Morocco, and the U.S. We are deeply connected to each of these countries in heart and through our extensive networks. I take pride in creating authentic luxury experiences that showcase Europe & Morocco.

Many of my clients split their trips between a major European city like Paris, Lisbon, or Barcelona and then continue on to Morocco. Even for a short stay, this is easy to do since there are many daily flights between Europe & Morocco, and the travel time is short (usually less than 2.5 hours).

If you would like to explore Europe and discover Morocco, let's design a journey where every detail works to create a travel story uniquely yours.

Magical Christmas Market Tour
Reviewed By juls - Iowa City, Iowa | Traveled to Europe
Valerie was fantastic to work with for planning our Christmas Market trip across Europe. We were able to take the train from Paris all the way to Prague, hitting markets in Germany, Austria, and Hungary along the way. Valerie’s creative itinerary, meticulous attention to detail and prompt responsive was unparalleled. Working with her made our holiday vacation stress-free, allowing us to create memories we will cherish for a lifetime!
Valerie Hilal responded
"It was a pleasure to work with you on your Christmas market tour, and it's been a blast planning a new route this year. I hope it manages even to exceed the first one. Look forward to seeing photos of you and the girls in the north this time. "

PERFECT Honeymoon - with Celiac accommodations!
Reviewed By PerfectHoneymoon - Minneapolis, MN | Traveled to Morocco | Africa
Valerie and Chafik (Blue Sky Morocco) went above and beyond to plan our perfect honeymoon! My wife and I have always wanted to travel to Africa and the Arab world. We usually plan trips ourselves, but for our honeymoon, we decided to treat ourselves. From our very first call, Valerie and Chafik were focused on planning the perfect trip customized for us. For example, we discussed our love for history, art, culture, and language, and they tailored our destinations and activities accordingly. It was also a very collaborative process. Once we settled on the length of trip and price, they put together a draft itinerary with locations and links to all of the hotels and riads. When we said we wanted to reduce some of the driving, they worked with us to book short flights within the country. Additionally, my wife was diagnosed with celiac disease a couple of years ago, which requires her to maintain a strict gluten-free diet. We were very impressed with how hard Valerie and Chafik worked to educate themselves about celiac disease in advance. After reading up on it themselves, they leveraged their personal relationships with hotel/riad owners, guides, and drivers in Morocco to ensure they were educated and able to accommodate our dietary needs. There are no guarantees with celiac - even the slightest amount of gluten cross-contamination can cause an autoimmune reaction - but they ensured that everyone taking care of us in Morocco took necessary precautions. When we got to Morocco, everything went smoothly. Every hotel/riad owner, every guide, and every driver seemed to know Valerie and Chafik personally - and that it was our honeymoon! Every hotel/riad was stunning. Every tour was private and customized to us. We truly felt like royalty. They also made themselves available via WhatsApp for any needs we had along the way. We loved learning about Morocco and would absolutely go back. We highly recommend Valerie, Chafik, and Blue Sky Morocco for your next trip!
Valerie Hilal responded
"Thank you for your kind review. We were truly honored to plan your honeymoon and were intent on making sure everything went perfectly for you. There is no time for falling ill when you're honeymooning, and we were really proud of our partners' serious attitudes towards your wife's Celiac disease when we prepped them before your visit. Thank you again for trusting us. We would love to welcome you back again!"

Rediscovering Morocco
Reviewed By SI - Chicago | Traveled to Fez | Morocco | Africa
A big thanks to Blue Sky Morocco for organizing my tour from Casa to Fes. I grew up in Morocco, but it’s been almost thirty years since I left so it was a discovery tour for me and my teenage son. We visited the ruins in Volubilis and had lunch in a village nearby. We had our own tour guide every where we went. Nourdine in Fes was great. He tried his best to keep us on cooler alleyways away from the crowds and the heat. He treated us to a special tea and took us the honey shop. The Quarawiyn Mosque was also a special experience and I was happy to get the chance to pray there. The riad we stayed in was beautiful and I took so many pictures! Casablanca was my son’s favorite part of the trip. He loved the beach and pool. We are so thankful to Chafik and Valerie for planning our trip.
Valerie Hilal responded
"Hi Samira, I'm so happy that you enjoyed your time in Morocco. It was such a pleasure to help you rediscover your home country. I know how important it was to you for your teenager to enjoy his time too--I'm glad we were able to make that happen for him. Take care and we hope to see you both back soon!"

Unforgettable time in Morocco
Reviewed By Elle - Charlotte | Traveled to Marrakesh | Morocco | Africa
We had an amazing time in Marrakesh, the desert, and Fez thanks to Valerie and Chafik. They thought of everything. We told them that we wanted to see as much as possible and they took that to heart. In Marrakesh, the riad was spotless, our driver had spent time in Florida and spoke great English, and the guide really knew his stuff. The Sahara desert was an unforgettable experience. We spent two days at Sunrise Palace. The staff were really sweet and attentive. The desert outings were a lot of fun. Fez was really special too. It was more relaxed than Marrakesh. It's the oldest city in Morocco so we learned a lot about the history. Our guide took us to a zelige workshop and the owner showed us how he makes the tile patterns you see every where here. This is our second time to travel with Valerie. She remembered how much we like the vineyard tour that she arranged for us in Italy so she got us to visit a famous vineyard near Fez. It was the perfect touch.

Southeastern france
Reviewed By France - Mesa, arizona | Traveled to Paris | France | Europe
Paris, Lourdes and Bayone were great. Bordeaux and the river cruise were a disapointment. The cruise was without any scenery, Little entertainment and few stops that were more than bus rides.
Valerie Hilal responded
"I'm pleased that Paris, Lourdes, and Bayonne was huge successes with you and your family and that the family had a great time. After our call yesterday, I reached out to Avalon today about the concerns you raised regarding the Bordeaux river cruise. I'm truly sorry that between the extreme temperatures in France and the cruise activities that were either cancelled or not executed well, the grand finale of your trip didn't turn out as hoped for. It's been a pleasure to work with you & the family."

The Sahara Desert in the Palm of Your Hand

Imagine this: Through the crowded streets of a local village, you come to the end of the road. The actual end of the road. Beyond the pavement, a landscape of rock and sand sprawls across an endless horizon. The 4WD bumps onto the open land, and you hear a small squeal of joy quelling inside you. The wilderness. The Perfect Honeymoon in Morocco
We just got back from our two-week Moroccan honeymoon and we are genuinely struggling to re-enter normal life. The itinerary took us through Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, Ait Benhaddou, Zagora, Merzouga, the Sahara, Casablanca, and Fez. Every single stay was impeccable, from the riads in Marrakesh & Fez to the boutique hotels in Zagora and Merzouga to the breathtaking Royal Mansour Casablanca. Valerie planned historical and cultural tours, a pottery workshop (more fun than we expected), a spa day, wine-tasting, dune surfing, and a sunrise hot air balloon ride that we will honestly be talking about for the rest of our lives. It was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and indulgence. In Fez, Valerie arranged a female driver and a female guide, and we're so glad she did. Our guide was incredible (so knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about her city) It felt really meaningful to support women working in the tourism industry. The perfect honeymoon. We couldn't ask for more.

Family trip to Marrakesh & Casablanca
We would like to thank Valerie for the great time we had while in Morocco. First off, a stop for juice from a local vendor. Watching him squeeze the juice from the pomegranate, and then drinking it right there on the street in Casablanca was a treat. A trip to a local outdoor market was one of the highlights to our trip. We met a group of young men we called the Spice Boys. They sold all type of fresh spices, olives, fruit, nuts. They are a delightful memory from our stay. After Casablanca we traveled to Marrakech. A historian guided us around the city. To hear about the Jewish settlements there in the early days was fascinating. I think the trip to the Atlas Mountains and Berber market was my favorite. Along the river in the mountains there is a restaurant. If you tell them you want a place by the creek, you get it. It was a wonderful trip. To write about just pieces of it leaves a lot out of the trip itself. There is so much that you have to experience it for yourself.

30th Wedding Anniversary in Morocco!
Unforgettable weekend in Marrakech! It was a last-minute request, but everything was perfect! (flights; driver; guide; hotel; restaurants; tours…) From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were warmly welcomed by the whole team. The hotel was in a great location, and the room was spacious and quiet with all the comforts we desired. The driver was very professional. He was at our disposal and punctual, with a spacious, clean car and water bottles available. The guide immersed us in the history of Marrakech. He was able to answer all our questions as we discovered the Jemaa el-Fna Square, the souks, the medina, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Garden and some unique places off the beaten path. We ask for a full itinerary with a bonus moment of relaxation (hammam and massage). We accomplished all this in a weekend! The choice of restaurants with entertainment and different meals delighted us! It was a total change of scenery. We felt like we had been away for 7 days!
