About Me

Are you a food enthusiast with a passion for travel? Imagine experiencing the world’s most vibrant cultures through their culinary traditions, savoring exotic flavors, and creating unforgettable memories. Welcome to the world of food travel, where every meal is an adventure and every destination offers a unique gastronomic delight.

As a Culinary Travel Curator and seasoned traveler, I have had the pleasure of sampling some of the world’s best cuisine — whether it was tapas in Spain, fresh sushi in Japan, Belgian waffles in Ghent, local cuisine in Shanghai, China, or homemade pasta in Italy. Food travel is more than just a vacation; it's an immersive experience that connects you to the heart and soul of a destination. Let me help you embark on a culinary journey.

Taste the essence of local culture by indulging in traditional dishes prepared with age-old recipes. From bustling street markets to cozy family-run eateries, each bite tells a story of heritage and tradition. Every destination has a new palate to explore. If you are interested in joining a cooking class, food tour, or visiting local markets, I can help find experiences that fit your interests. Learn the secrets behind iconic dishes, discover regional specialties, and even try your hand at cooking authentic meals.

Here are some of my favorite travel food destinations:

1. China

The food is a mosaic of regional cuisines, each with its own unique characteristics. Every region’s cuisine reflects its climate, geography, and cultural influences, offering a wide range of flavors and cooking techniques. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients is a cornerstone of Chinese cooking. One of the most enjoyable experiences is sharing dinner with a group of people — socializing and tasting each dish together, whether it is Peking duck, dim sum, fresh vegetables, or traditional soups.

2. Japan

In Japan, food presentation is considered an art form. Each dish is beautifully arranged to appeal to the eyes as much as the taste buds. The use of vibrant colors, intricate garnishes, and elegant plating turns every meal into a visual feast, reflecting the Japanese aesthetic principle of “wabi-sabi” — finding beauty in simplicity and imperfection. My favorite experiences included visiting an izakaya, a Japanese-style pub, with local friends to enjoy a variety of small dishes including grilled skewers and savory pancakes. My love for food adventures started in Japan. I also enjoyed exploring Osaka’s food culture, from fresh sushi to dishes found in local street markets.

3. Italy

Italy is a land where food is more than sustenance; it is a celebration of life, family, and culture. From the rich, creamy risottos of Milan to the fresh, tangy tomato-based dishes of Naples, Italy is a paradise for food lovers. My favorite experiences were exploring cities such as Lucca and Florence to discover local cafés serving homemade pasta, gelato, and regional wines.

4. Belgium

Belgium is known for its chocolate and world-famous beers. The combination of historic settings and local cuisine creates a treasured and unique dining experience. One of my favorite memories was enjoying dinner with friends at a restaurant beside the Gravensteen Castle while savoring local wine and mussels. Later, on the walk back to the hotel, we stopped for warm Belgian waffles.Food travel can be one of the most unique and rewarding experiences when traveling. Sharing a meal or sampling local cuisine gives you the opportunity to learn about a culture in a meaningful way. It can also introduce you to treasured dishes and recipes that remind you of the friends you met and the places you explored. Culinary travel opens the door to a world of flavors and unforgettable memories.

England - Fly Fishing & Photography

Great trip. Lisa did a great job in helping get everything lined up and ready to go. Catching trains and cabs is probably easy for Londoners, but not for me when I did not grow up with it. But she took care of it.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Our Italy Trip
Reviewed By Mike - Winchester, KY | Traveled to Milan | Italy | Europe
We had an amazing trip to Milan. It was a blend of art, food and sightseeing. We loved the architecture. One day we just spent the day walking the city visiting sites like the Galleria Vittorio and the Duomo stopping for gelato along the way. The shopping and food were great experiences especially the mozzarella bar. We would 100% go back.

Bahama Beach Relaxation
Reviewed By Betty - Bowling Green, KY | Traveled to Bahamas | Caribbean
Our trip to the Bahamas was a well-deserved break. It was amazing to spend 7 days in paradise. The trip was planned based on our needs for relaxation. We spent our days soaking up the sun looking out at the beautiful turquoise waters. The hardest thing we had to do was push our sunglasses back on our face. It was just the right amount of activity we asked for. We had a great time exploring the island and sampling the local cuisine. We will definitely go back.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Japan Vacation
Reviewed By Sam - Madison, IN | Traveled to Japan | East and Southeast Asia
We had a great time on our trip to Japan. We really enjoyed Tokyo from the sightseeing, our stay in such a modern hotel and the food tour. We loved the bullet train experience to Osaka. We really enjoyed the shopping and nightlife in Osaka. I didn't expect to sing karaoke while on our trip, but it was so much fun. The short trip to Kyoto was a perfect way to wind down our trip. We loved the mix of culture, nightlife and relaxation. The food on our trip was amazing. We loved everything but the uni. We can't wait to plan another trip.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
