I’ve had the privilege of exploring it twice: first as a traveler, then as a Luxury Buyer at the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), where I met with over 100 of the country’s top hoteliers, destination experts, and tourism partners. This experience deepened my understanding of Australia’s vast and varied luxury landscape — from world-class lodges and island escapes to immersive Aboriginal cultural experiences and wine-region indulgences.

After ATE, I joined an exclusive familiarization trip through Tasmania, uncovering the wild beauty of Hobart and its surroundings. Highlights included a private night tour at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, stargazing atop Mt. Wellington, and exploring the island’s artisanal food and art scene — proof that Tasmania is every bit as magical as the mainland, especially for milestone celebrations and meaningful escapes.

Before becoming a travel advisor, my husband and I also spent time in Melbourne, driving the iconic Great Ocean Road, sampling the city’s legendary coffee culture, browsing its markets, and soaking up the relaxed St. Kilda vibe.
