We recently stayed at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun, and overall we had a great trip. Dana was wonderful in helping us plan everything. She took the time to walk us through different hotel options and helped us choose one that best fit our needs. The hotel itself was very nice. The grounds were beautiful, well maintained, and the beach was great. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. That said, the food was average — we’ve had better at other resorts. We also found the “vacation club” sales approach to be a bit pushy, and there were daily water sport vendors on the beach asking if we wanted to book activities. Personally, I prefer adults-only resorts or properties that at least have an adults-only section, which is something we would likely look for next time. Our excursion to Isla Mujeres started off a little rough because our scheduled transportation never showed up, and we had to arrange our own ride, which made us late. However, once we arrived, the company made it right by giving us a private boat ride out to the catamaran we were supposed to be on. Once on the island, we had about four hours to explore, and it was absolutely amazing. Overall, we truly enjoyed our trip and would definitely return to Mexico. Next time, we would likely try a different resort and possibly a new area so we could be closer to more attractions.

We booked our trip to Sandals La Toc with Dana for our mini honeymoon following our wedding.
