Hello, fellow Travelers! My name is Erin Kloostra, and I’m an avid traveler who loves to connect people with their dream destinations and experiences. I am passionate about creating unique and seamless itineraries for my clients. My husband, Derek, and I created The Adventure Advisor after over 20 years of my dreaming about being a travel professional.

I am the travel professional of the business and manage the day-to-day tasks. Derek, a visionary consultant, provides the insights that keep us ahead of the curve.

My frequent travels have taken me multiple times to tropical islands in the Caribbean (Punta Cana, Bahamas, Jamaica) and the soft sands of the beaches in Mexico (Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta), both with the ease of all-inclusive resorts and with full immersion in the culture of these sun-drenched destinations. From mission trips to Guatemala, cruising to Alaska, and exploring European destinations like London and Paris, I’ve collected a variety of experiences that assist me in planning trips. Having been coast to coast, I have seen most of the United States - from sun-soaked Florida to majestic National Parks. By hand-crafting my family’s various trips to Disney and Universal Studios in Orlando as well as Hershey Park, Great Flags, Sea World, Dollywood, and other small theme parks, I have done it all. Plus, I have plenty of experience navigating the buzz of larger cities like Las Vegas, New York City, Chicago and Orlando. Living in Boise's mountain majesty, Grand Rapids' vibrant energy, and Selinsgrove's charming small-town vibes has given me a unique perspective on what makes a place special.  I translate all of those experiences into crafting the perfect trip for you, no matter your travel style.
