SilverseaAbout Me
I sailed Silver Shadow on a 10-day Caribbean voyage from Cartagena to Barbados, and the trip is the reason I now plan more Silversea itineraries than any other cruise line. If you're trying to decide whether Silversea is right for you — or which ship and itinerary actually fits — this is the kind of advisor work where I can save you real time and real money.
What Silversea does better than anyone else:
Genuine all-inclusive at the ultra-luxury tier. Fine dining across multiple restaurants, premium beverages, gratuities, and most shore excursions are included on the All-Inclusive Plus fare. The price you book is close to the price you pay.
Small-ship access to ports the megaships can't reach. On the Caribbean voyage I sailed, we tendered into less-crowded harbors and had time to actually walk the towns rather than queue for tour buses.
Crew-to-guest ratio that delivers on the promise. Butler service in every suite category is genuinely included, not a marketing line. Bartenders remember your drink by the second evening.
Itineraries across every region. Silversea operates more than ten ships covering Antarctica, the Arctic, the Galápagos, the Mediterranean, Asia, the South Pacific, the Caribbean, and Northern Europe.
The ships I help clients choose between:
Silversea operates a fleet of distinct ships, and the right one for your trip depends on the itinerary, the size you're comfortable with, and the suite category that matches your style. Silver Nova and Silver Ray are the newest and largest, with the most dining variety and the boldest design. Silver Moon, Silver Dawn, and Silver Muse offer the modern Silversea experience at a slightly more intimate scale. Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper are the smaller classic ships I sailed and recommend for travelers who want the most personal feel. Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud, and Silver Windare the expedition vessels for Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Galápagos.
Who Silversea is right for:
Silversea suits travelers who've outgrown mainstream cruise lines, who want destination-rich itineraries rather than sea-day-heavy schedules, and who value a quiet, adult atmosphere on board. It's also the right answer for first-time luxury cruisers stepping up from premium lines like Celebrity or Holland America — the difference is immediate and obvious.
It's not the right fit for travelers looking for big-ship entertainment, casinos, or programs designed around children. For those needs, I'd point you elsewhere.
What I do for Silversea clients:
I work with Silversea as a preferred Travel Leaders Network partner, which means I can secure onboard credits, suite upgrades when available, priority dining and shore excursion reservations, and access to promotional fares including the All-Inclusive Plus program, the Essential fare option, air programs, and seasonal added-value offers. I help match clients to the right ship, the right suite category (the differences matter more than the brochure suggests), and the right itinerary for the experience they're actually after. If you're planning your first Silversea voyage or your tenth,
I'd love to help. The best Silversea trips start with a real conversation about what kind of traveler you are — not which deal looks biggest.
