About Me

My intention is to take the work out of planning your vacation so that you have an excellent travel experience filled with comfort, relaxation, and fun memories.

I am new to the travel industry, but have been planning trips for my family to various theme parks & resorts and other destinations for years.  I love researching our destinations to find hotels, adventures & activities that fit our interests, lifestyle, and budget.  I've been traveling together with my husband & children for over 15 years; we have stayed off-site, on-site and in rental homes, depending on the trip. I bring these various experiences to the table when helping you plan your upcoming vacation, whether you're traveling with family, friends, or by yourself.

My strengths include an eye & ear for detail, so you can be confident that I'll be asking in-depth questions to make sure that I have all of the info I need to plan a vacation that meets or exceeds your vision & expectations.  As a new travel specialist, I'm not afraid to seek assistance if I encounter a situation that I'm not familiar with - I will never pretend to know something I don't just to save face in front of you.  I'm highly organized, detailed, and enjoy spending time researching options for trips.

I have been traveling to theme parks with my family for over 10 years.  We are huge Universal Studios enthusiasts (ok, we're Potterheads!), and have enjoyed annual visits over the last several years.  We stayed off-site on our initial visits to help keep costs down, but have chosen to stay at a Universal resort the last few trips in order to maximize the opportunities and take advantage of the various perks & special packages associated with staying on-site.  We have also traveled to Disney World on several occasions, mainly staying off-site for those trips.

Before having children, I worked for several years in hospital and school settings as a speech-language pathologist.  Working with various special needs populations provided me with valuable experience and insight; I am a Certified Autism Travel Professional, having completed training with IBCCES.  My goal is to help plan wonderful & relaxing vacations for families and friends who may be traveling with special needs loved ones.

Families looking to visit a world-renowned theme park.  Couples taking some time for themselves at an all-inclusive resort or cruise.  Friends looking to enjoy a girls-only (or guys-only) getaway on the open seas.  On a budget or the sky's the limit.  I'm here to help you take the work out of planning your vacation so that you can simply travel and stay well.
