In the summer of 2019, our family took a month-long trip to Southeast Asia. It was an incredible journey, filled with new adventures, culture, art, and new smells and tastes. However, one of the most memorable experiences was our day at Karen Elephant Serenity, a project developed by Elephant Nature Park near Chiang Mai, Thailand. We got to enjoy the company of four-month old baby Heng Heng, her mom, and her nanny!
