We have worked with Johanna on all of our overseas travel; her services are unmatched. She is extremely knowledgeable and offers her unbiased opinions and suggestions for our itinerary. We have trusted her completely when booking hotels and it has always worked out in our favor. Each hotel has been amazing and in a wonderful part of the city. On our trip to Amsterdam we had a problem with payment upon checkout at our hotel, when we contacted Johanna and advised her of the problem she immediately handled the situation leaving us with nothing to worry about. First Class all the way and back to Italy

We recieved First Class treatment the minute we contacted Johanna about our luxury Italian honeymoon. I have not used a travel planner in many years and after our past journey we will be using Johanna again very soon. I first found Holiday Plan It at the top of the Google search and gave Johanna a call.
She asked me what my wife and I were looking for in our dream honeymoon to Italy and our budget. She went work and we met a week later at her office in Sparks. She had several options for tours. But, we opted to let Johanna take the reins to build our dream escape. We just got back from our amazing honey to Italy (Venice, Florence, Rome) with First Class air travel and accommodations that matched. Johanna also booked great tours at the Coliseum, Tuscany, and the Vatican. The thing that impressed me most is she always respected our budget and never tried to push us. Thank you for an incredible getaway that we will never forget.

Incredible Adventure, trip of a lifetime!

From the onset of our planning with Johanna for a fabulous river cruise, she has been on top of all facets of the trip. Pre cruise and post cruise arrangements were top notch. History Trip 13 Years in the Making

Amazing! Johanna crafted a beautiful itinerary for us incorporating everything I wanted to do and helped me to prioritize what was the most important to see. She came up with events that I never would have thought of. For example, she scheduled us a bike ride tour to see all the monuments in DC. We never could’ve gotten to them all with the kids walking but I wouldn’t have figured that out until it was too late! She could anticipate the needs of our family better than I did. We traveled from DC, to NYC, to Boston, and then the cherry on top was Niagara Falls in Canada! It was the longest trip our family has ever taken. I had lots of concerns and Johanna’s expertise guided me the whole way- from planning advice to printing all of our papers numbered in order for each outing. It was perfect!

First vacation since the world shutdown

Johanna helped plan and organize our 10-Night Panama Canal cruise. Not only did she check into price drops (even after the cruise lines final payment date she was able to get us the lower rate), but she helped us figure out the travel insurance options and gave us some tips and suggestions for the cruise and shore excursions. Having our pre-cruise meet-up to give us all our needed paperwork and answer all our last minute questions was so helpful with relieving our pre-vacation jitters. She even surprised us with a sail away treat that was so very thoughtful! Knowing that Johanna was a phone call, test, or email away if anything went awry to help us navigate solutions was very comforting as well. Happy to report the vacation went off without a hitch and I think Johanna even has an inside line with Mother Nature as rain was expected at a number of our ports, but we never encountered any of it.

Sister's 50th Birthday Bash

Johanna coordinated the flights, hotel stays, transportation, etc., for 29 people coming in from many different destinations. Everything went smoothly and we all had tons of fun. A Great Vacation!

25th Anniversary Trip to Tahiti, Moorea & Bora Bora

Our 25th anniversary trip was truly unforgettable—thank you for helping us create such a special family memory! Flying business class on Air Tahiti Nui was worth every penny, with excellent service and a smooth flight. We stayed at the Hilton in Tahiti and Moorea, and the St. Regis in Bora Bora. Tahiti itself was busy and not quite what I expected, but excursions made it worthwhile. Moorea was beautiful, with the included breakfast being a highlight and boat tours worth doing. Bora Bora was our favorite—the St. Regis was incredible, with fantastic staff, amazing overwater bungalows, and fun excursions like jet skiing. French Polynesia is expensive, so travelers should plan accordingly, bring adapters, bug spray, and motion-sickness remedies. The weather changes quickly, but overall, it was beautiful every day. Overall, I’d rate this trip a 9/10—an amazing and memorable experience we’ll always treasure.

Johanna is extremely informative from the moment you decide to take a trip. Love the videos sent out that you can watch at any time or if you prefer you can read the same information. Very easy to refer back to them if you need to. Simply reply if you have any questions and they are promptly answered. Information necessary is given as you need it and you are not inundated with it all at once so it's easy to handle each step when needed. There is genuine care for you and feel as though you have a friend. I recommend given the chance that you travel with her and a group as you end up not only having an amazing adventure but making many new friends along the way.

Awesome Paris trip

Johanna was so helpful in setting up this birthday celebration with my daughter (daughter was turning 30). My daughter had an idea of where she wanted to go and what she wanted to see. Johanna was recommended to us by my nephew. She was a real help in identifying tours and places to see that my daughter hadn't thought about. Johanna and Irene took the worrying out of the trip. We told her what we liked, asked if she had any suggestions, and she put it all together. My daughter (I) didn't have to do any of the follow up phone calls. Johanna did it all for us! We will definitely call on Johanna and her team for any future travel.

Italian Adventure

When we were deciding how to arrange our trip to Italy, Johanna offered many options. She was very knowledgeable about the various cruise ships and ports of call. We wanted to extend our trip by staying additional days in Venice and Rome. She carefully arranged stimulating daily itineraries and suggested lovely hotels that were well located while staying within our budget. During the entire planning process (approximately 11 mos), she was always very responsive and professional.
Prior to our departure, she mailed an extremely well organized packet outlining our itinerary, complete with necessary transfers. There was even a basket of fruit and a welcome card when we entered our state room on the cruise ship! Johanna was quick to respond to emails and always extremely professional and polite. We had an ourstanding vacation in Italy, primarily due to Johanna's efforts
I highly recommend Johanna Van Oeveren. She is first rate and a class act.

Belizean paradise

Highly recommend Johanna for all of your travel needs! I was a little hesitant in booking my first cruise experience with a group but the camaraderie and activities with the First Responders group added to an awesome fun week. Johanna took all of the work out of planning our vacation by not having to worry about the details and timing of reservations. I had some last minute changes of needing a room prior to boarding and transportation after disembarking. Johanna was able to find the best deal and most convenient accommodations for us. Our Texas Get Away

Most Memorable Trip!

Johanna did an excellent job in planning a surprise trip for my wife's 40th b-day. She arranged a stay for us in a ranch house near Sedona, AZ. My wife was so excited! Johanna helped to make it a trip of a lifetime. Upon arrival, we were made to feel as though we were part of the family. This was an actual working cattle ranch and Johanna arranged for us to go on a private horseback ride through the mountains in the area. Later that night, we enjoyed an outdoor cookout with live music and fun activities. What an excellent trip! Johanna was always available if we had questions. I was also told by the staff of the ranch that they enjoyed dealing with her over the phone because of her professionalism. They stated they could tell she was very attentive and wanted to ensure her clients (us) had a memorable stay. Thanks again, Johanna, for all of your hard work. It does not go unnoticed.

Belize it 2017

I met Johanna when she coordiated a good friends 50th Birthday in Disneyland in 2014. She did such a fabulous job organizing the accommodations, events, park entry, etc. My 50th is in 2017 and we are plannng a trip to an Island off the coast of Belize (Coco Plum Cay Island). Johanna obtained the information on how to reserve the island for the entire party and managed the securing of downpayments, Insurance, etc. She helps with updates on our Facebook Group Page and keeps up posted on receipt of reservation from our guests! This is going to be a fun time and a lot of the excitement is working with Johanna 2 years out to coordinate all of the details as we build up to the actual vacation time. The Guests all agree, we want to go now! Thank you Johanna for your professionalism, and friendship! I would recommend her services to my friends and look forward to her helping organize my Sister's 50th in 2019!!

Disney in 14 with Mary@ 50

It was a nice hot summer day in Las Vegas Nevada in 2012 when I went to johanna with the news that I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday with lots of friends and family in Disneyland Californian. We had 2 years to plan this birthday bash, so she started right away with the research and planning. She advised me all along the way. In July of 2013 I moved from las vegas to ohio, the pLanning continued wit out a hitch, we worked together long distance. She was amazing, handling the room reservations, park tickets, character breakfast, as well as airline tickets and special dinner reservations for 40 people from 10 different states. She not only arranged everything but she hosted the entire weekend there so I truly got to be the guest of honor who got to enjoy the entire disneyland adventure.
