Today, I am a certified autism travel professional, and the training I have completed allows me to provide my travelers with the support and guidance they need as they navigate travel experiences with individuals on the autism spectrum. Japan — Having lived in Japan for many years, I am able to create itineraries from the perspective of a local. I recently crafted a 45-day itinerary for clients who wanted to go on the trip of a lifetime. We opted for historical destinations and arranged for private transportation so that they could learn about the cultures and traditions of Japan from a local guide.
