I’ll be honest—cruising wasn’t always my thing. In fact, I was terrified before my very first cruise, which I only took because it was required for work. I still remember nervously boarding the ship, so focused on just getting on that I walked right past the officers announcing each guest. To top it off, there was a hurricane in the forecast. I was told, “Just don’t look out the porthole.” Not exactly comforting!But by the next morning, everything changed. The skies were crystal clear, and another Disney ship—the Magic—was docked beside us. I wandered the decks, explored the ship, and within hours, I was completely hooked.That night, while shopping onboard, a crew member spotted my badge and asked if I worked with the travel agent who had been afraid to board. I laughed and said, “That was me!” Turns out I left quite an impression.
