Me in Big Sur
I have loved visiting Southern California for years. It's one of my happy places! I was fortunate enough to essentially live there for 2 years (if there was one good thing that came from the pandemic, this is definitely it for me!). I visited so many of the world famous attractions, their absolutely gorgeous beaches and have hiked mountains with breath taking views. This experience allowed me to learn not only about the popular "touristy" things you can do, but the off the beaten path adventures as well.
Taking a road trip north from Los Angeles to The Redwoods was something you really can't put into words. Seeing massive trees that have been there for hundreds and hundreds of years really has a way to ground you. There is so much to this world and we are just a small piece of it! The ocean and cliffs of Big Sur are mind blowing! The colors of nature truly can't be replicated!
There is no better time to see all the beauty this country has to offer.
