Bonaire- The Beginning of Our Underwater Adventure

It’s funny how one little discovery can completely change your world. For us, it all started in 2023 when we found out you can scuba dive inside The Living Seas tank at EPCOT. We’d always thought, “It’d be cool to try scuba someday,” but the second we learned we could dive at Disney—it became “We’re absolutely getting certified! ”We got our certification just for that one magical Disney dive… and then we fell completely in love. What started as a bucket-list experience turned into one of our favorite passions. There’s something truly incredible about being underwater—drifting through coral, watching sea turtles glide by, and feeling like you’re part of a whole new world. Our first ocean dives were in Bonaire, one of the most popular dive destinations in the world—and wow, did it live up to every expectation! The crystal-clear water, vibrant reefs, and peaceful rhythm of the island made it absolutely unforgettable. Sitting on the dock looking out at that endless blue, we knew we’d found something special. Since then, we’ve been hooked (in the best way!). We’ve even had the chance to dive at the Georgia Aquarium, swimming alongside manta rays and whale sharks—talk about breathtaking! Our scuba adventures have only just begun, and we’ll be updating our story as we go. Over the next two years, we’ve got some big dives planned—think Indonesia, the Maldives, and some amazing land stops in Singapore and Dubai along the way. Every dive feels like a new adventure, and we can’t wait to see where the current takes us next.
