TRAVEL EXPERT FOR ONE OF A KIND TRIPS

First of all, thank you so much Crystal for planning our UK trip - we had such a spectacular time! I really appreciated that all the hotels, trains, and activities were organized so I did not have to stress about it each day. Thank you for the work that you put into our holiday!

Crystal was vital is organizing and planning our weeklong trip in London. We did everything we wanted to do and had an outstanding experience. I would recommend her services to anyone planning a trip to London. My wife and I traveled with our daughter and son-in-law. We knew what we wanted to do but we weren't completely sure where the best hotel location would be for walking purposes. My wife and I are over 80 so minimizing the amount of walking we would do was important. We were pleased with Crystal's hotel recommendation, The Clermont, which is adjacent to the Embankment tube/train stop. We averaged about 12,000 step/day which was just about right for us and were able to walk to most venues. Crystal's directions and suggestions were appropriate and very useful. She was available most hours of the day and even responded promptly during evening and early morning hours whenever we had a question. Her trip itinerary documents were wonderfully useful and instructive. We made her aware of our physical limitations (we both use a cane) and she incorporated these elements into our trip planning. We are relatively schedule driven. We like to have entry times to museums and reservations at restaurants. Crystal set these up for us and structured our itinerary to maximize the number activities and events we could participate in or attend. I also like to the idea that some of our activities had a distinct "British" flavor to them, for example a roast beef lunch at a pub. London is, of course, highly cosmopolitan so her other suggestions exposed us to other cultures and cuisines. Crystal was professional and pleasant to work with. I would be pleased to use her services in the future.

With limited recent exposure to the United Kingdom, we sought an expert and found Crystal. We wanted to see some shows in London and spend much of our time in Edinburgh and the Highlands. Crystal found some great lodging and meal options across the UK, booked convenient travel within the country, and worked with us on multiple revisions to get the journey appropriately tailored to our desires. We have traveled all over the country and world. Had been to this area before but it had been 40 years. We have only used a travel agent once before and we had problems. Since we were unfamiliar with the area we decided to look for a travel agent. We lucked out with Crystal. She was very knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to work with. Four of us went to Portugal for about 10 days this summer and right when we arrived, there was a train strike! The rough outline of my trip was done, with half my time spent traveling on my own and the other on a group hike. Crystal filled in the holes of where to stay, how to get there, and things I could do there as I made my way from the main island of Japan to the southern island and back. Her experience of living and traveling in Japan was a big asset. We communicated easily via text/email/phone calls.

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary somewhere new that we'd never been to and chose Playa Del Carmen and Cancun in Mexico. Crystal found us a couple of wonderful all-inclusive resorts right on the beach and some day trips that were very fun including seeing the Mayan ruins and cenotes. Our oldest daughter was getting ready to go off to college and we wanted to do a big European vacation as a family before she left. I took my family to Iceland for the first time but knew I didn't have time to do all the research needed so I found Crystal online and she was great to work with. She rented us a nice RV and we did the full circle loop. We all had so much fun seeing the waterfalls and glaciers and did a couple really cool tours. Horseback riding on a black sand beach was a highlight.

Crystal was so patient with us as we worked with her to create the most incredible first trip to Japan that me and my fiance could have ever imagined! She listened to our interests and goals for the trip, both general and specific, and found the best things for us to see and do. She got us tickets to the Ghibli museum, which are extremely hard to get, and she sent us detailed suggestions for traditional festivals, firework displays, great restaurants, train routes, and so many other things. Crystal is so easy and fun to work with! My best friend and I have always dreamed of heading out west to explore California, especially the beautiful coastline that we've been seeing our whole lives in TV shows and movies! But we were overwhelmed with all the options and decided to reach out for some help. From the beginning, Crystal helped us get really clear on what we most wanted to see and do and also suggested some cool things we would have never thought of. We took kite surfing lessons and kayaked around some really interesting caves and so much more, all while driving around in a convertible that Crystal rented for us. My husband and I had an amazing trip to the French Alps this past winter! It was our first time there and we didn't really know where to start because there are so many different areas and ski resorts and places to stay and restaurants, etc. but Crystal dialed right into what we wanted and planned the perfect itinerary for us. She found us a large comfortable ski chalet to stay in for a week and the slopes were within walking distance! She also got us reservations to a couple of really nice restaurants with great wine, food, and mountain views and recommended a local spa for one of the best couples' massages we've had. We also took Crystal on her suggestion of paragliding over the Alps, which is something we would never have thought of but we absolutely loved it! I was soooo excited to receive Crystal's proposed itinerary!! I'm usually the planner wherever I go and it's wonderful to have someone else who's so knowledgeable and caring wearing that hat! My trip to the English countryside was amazing from beginning to end and I wish I could have stayed longer. I visited castles, local pubs, beautiful lakes and rivers, traditional English gardens, went kayaking for a full day on the beautiful river Wye, saw a fun West End show in London, and Crystal even helped me find the small church where one of my distant ancestors was laid to rest! Crystal organized an amazing trip to Fiji for me and my wife. She communicated clearly from the start and answered all the questions we had. We wanted a mix of relaxation and exploration and we got both of those in abundance! She found three different places to stay out in the Yasawa Islands, all at different price points. Some more homestays and others more resort like. The experience was superb. Quiet beaches with friendly Fijian hosts, really interesting stories and a visit to the village, great local food and we even made our own rings out of coconuts! Crystal also picked the best snorkeling and diving location we had ever been to. She thought carefully about all the activities she thought we would like and it exceeded our expectations. Traditional hot stone oven food and dancing, seeing manta rays and reef sharks and making a palm frond fan, all brilliant. She helped create a wonderful holiday and we will definitely be working with her again!
