An escorted land tour is a great way to the world. Small or larger groups travel via bus throughout the countryside from one town to the next on the itinerary within the country, and then on to the next country. It allows you to see more of the country, from the comfort of an air conditioned bus.There are luggage restrictions to be aware of when you travel this way as there is very limited space under or above the seats on the bus, so larger bags and suitcases must ride under the bus, and again, space is limited based on the size of the bus and the number of passengers.

Escorted Land Tours typically offer a local specialist who will offer a guided tour around a certain area of a city, then you often have a little time on your own to explore, grab a quick bite to eat, or shop for souvenirs.

In addition to a guided tour, there are Optional Experiences that are offered, for an added fee, where you might experience a unique dining experience or other experiences, such as seeing another area nearby.

Unlike a cruise where you unpack once, you most often live out of your suitcase. Although it doesn't sound like much fun, it doesn't take long to adjust to style of travel.

One of the things I like most about this type of travel is that because you're traveling with a group on the same bus, and staying at the same hotels, you have the opportunity to connect with fellow travelers and get to know each other, which helps make this type of travel a wonderful experience.
