In 2018, we had the incredible opportunity to embark on a Japan-to-Alaska cruise that left an indelible mark on our hearts. Japan captivated us with its breathtaking landscapes, immaculate streets, and the genuine warmth of its people. The stunning scenery, serene lakes, and historic temples added layers of beauty and cultural richness to our journey.

Our travels took us from the vibrant streets of Tokyo to the picturesque ports of Shimizu and Osaka, and even across the sea to Busan, South Korea. We explored Sakaiminato, Hakodate, and Muroran, and then crossed the International Date Line before arriving in Whittier, Alaska. Each stop was a unique adventure, filled with unforgettable experiences.

If you ever have the chance to visit Japan, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take it. Be sure to carve out ample time to explore the country and immerse yourself in its many temples and historical sites. It’s a journey you won’t soon forget!
