Since 1971 I traveled to 19 countries on the African Continent with many groups, large and small, and booked many people on their adventure of a lifetime.  I've taken  safaris in Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa and many other countries, taking rail and ship journeys, climbing Kilimanjaro and trekking with gorillas in Uganda and Rwanda. During my travels I encountered some of the most wonderful people who live their lives like they have for centuries, who open their arms to greet you and children who flock to have their pictures taken with you.

I enjoyed some amazing experiences such as visiting a school to find the children playing soccer with a cabbage.  When we returned home, we sent a large box of deflated soccer balls to the school.  On a visit to Nairobi, we purchased piglets and delivered them to a group of grandmothers, who were raising their grandchildren. We sang and danced with them while we helped them create a fabulous feast for us.

We had lunch with a gorilla family in the jungles of Rwanda, then dined in Luxury on the Rovos Rail through South Africa.
