Cruises (Ocean and River)

Ocean and river cruises can both be incredible ways to travel, but they are not the same experience. My role is to help travelers understand the difference before they choose a ship, itinerary, cabin, or cruise line. The right cruise should match the way you want to travel, not just the destination you want to see.

For ocean cruises, I look at the full experience. That includes the cruise line, ship size, onboard atmosphere, dining options, entertainment, cabin category, itinerary, port schedule, embarkation city, drink packages, WiFi options, gratuities, shore excursions, travel protection, and whether the ship is better for families, couples, groups, first time cruisers, luxury travelers, or adults looking for a certain pace. Two ships can visit the same islands and still feel completely different once you are onboard.

For river cruises, the details matter in a different way. River cruising is often more destination focused, slower paced, and centered around culture, history, food, wine, scenery, and amazing experiences. I help travelers understand the itinerary, included excursions, walking requirements, ship style, cabin layout, dining experience, pace of travel, and what type of traveler would truly enjoy that kind of vacation.

I also help clients think through important cruise decisions that can affect the entire trip. Flying in the day before, choosing the right cabin location, understanding passport requirements, selecting excursions early, reviewing travel documents, and knowing what is included can make a huge difference. Cruise planning is not just about getting on the ship. It is about making sure the experience flows smoothly from the moment you leave home until the moment you return.
