SWITZERLAND!!

A few years back we were planning our first trip to Europe with some of our kids and unlike most people who go to Paris, London or Rome as a first trip, I wanted their first views in Europe to be in a few of my favorite places in the world in Switzerland.

When I was in my 20s, I first went to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Geneva and Lucerne (among others) and I had always wanted to go back when I had family to take with me.

So, that's what we did, and I managed to get there in March while the ski season is still in full swing, ????? but where the cities are blooming with Spring flowers and warmer weather.??????It was everything I had hoped it would be!

We stayed at a wonderful cottage ??in Lauterbrunnen, ??between the cliffs where Murren sits and Wengen and had the best time seeing these amazing places and having a great time skiing too!????

This was core memory stuff and I've been back many times since, but there is nothing like seeing something for the first time, or taking someone to a place you love and letting them see it and fall in love like you did.????

Since this trip, I have been back several times and it is better and different every time it seems.    I've been to Switzerland in the Summer and spent time in the amazing larger cities of Geneva and Zurich, had dinner at an amazing lakeside restaurant in Lousanne and spent nearly a week skiing under the Matterhorn in Zermatt.    I know the train system inside and out and can put together an amazing custom tour or find the right tour for you.    

This is why I love travel so much and why we work so hard to make sure every trip and every vacation has the potential to create these kinds of core memories.??Travel makes the world smaller and bigger at the same time!! ????
