I am fairly new to the travel industry but don't let that stop you from reaching out to me! Travel has always been my passion. I caught the travel bug while working my first job as an administrative assistant. My entire job was to plan travel for executives in our company and I fell in LOVE! I loved spending extra time to make sure that every last detail was thought of and perfect. When I was promoted to sales within the same company the CEO and CFO still wanted me to plan their most important client trips and to look over their trips to ensure the new assistant was planning them properly.

As soon as I could afford to travel myself, every last penny of extra money I had was saved for my next trip. My trips started out small & on a very strict budget and as I grew in my career I was able to afford bigger and better trips but no matter how much money I had to spend I just loved being able to get away. When I met my husband and he loved to travel as much as I did I knew it was a match. We have never given each other gifts, special occasions are celebrated with a vacation or an experience.

There is not a single vacation that I would turn down but I very much enjoy all-inclusive and cruises, especially if they involve islands and good weather. Some of my favorite destinations include Mexico, Hawaii, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, the US and British Virgin Islands, Turks & Caicos and so many more!

I've now reached a point in my life and career where I am starting to slow down and enjoy all that life has to offer. The problem? I love to work. I've been accused a time or two of being a workaholic but I can't help it. I need something to do as much as I need air. When I sat down and thought about what I'd enjoy doing becoming a Travel Adviser made so much sense. Traveling is my absolute FAVORITE thing to do and when I looked back over my entire career I was most fulfilled in the early days when I was an executive assistant. I loved wowing the executives in our company with more than they expected when traveling. Finding the perfect restaurant for our CEO or making sure she had a car to pick her up for a meeting in London invigorated me. I love taking care of details and going the extra mile to make people feel important.

The goal of Island Vibes Travel is to make your next vacation the very best it can possibly be. We'll provide concierge level services even if you're budget doesn't include private jets or yachts (mine doesn't either!) My goal is to take all of the stress of planning off of you so you can focus on enjoying your next vacation.
