A World of Options

Our trip to Croatia was nothing short of extraordinary, and I cannot say enough positive things about Carol Pierpont at 7continents2c. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience from beginning to end. The pace of the adventure was perfectly balanced, combining memorable activities with enough free time to rest, recharge, or explore independently. The itinerary showcased Croatia’s stunning natural beauty, fascinating history, rich culture, and outstanding cuisine. Highlights included a private tour of the capital city of Zagreb, the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes, exploring the vibrant coastal city of Split, and an exceptional cooking class that provided a literal taste of Dalmatian traditions. Korcula Island was absolutely magical, with wonderful accommodations and unforgettable scenery. A favorite experience was visiting an oyster farm on the Pelješac Peninsula. Because we were the only guests that day, it felt like a private tour in a beautiful natural setting. We enjoyed a lunch of very fresh oysters and mussels. We also delighted in visits to private wineries, where we had the opportunity to talk with the owner/winemakers. Dubrovnik provided a spectacular finale, with its ancient walled city and remarkable history. Carol’s expertise, attention to detail, and seamless coordination created an exceptional travel experience. I would enthusiastically recommend Carol to anyone seeking a first-class, personalized Croatian adventure or any other destination. In fact, I am already planning future trips with Carol.

My experience with Carol was exemplary through all phases of my travel experience. In the planning stage, she listened to where I wanted to travel in Italy and what I wanted to see. In addition, she heeded to what I expected from my travel experience in terms of services provided. As a result, she recommended a travel tour that encompassed all of my wishes. Once the tour had been selected, Carol managed my payments, helped in providing the proper insurance, and reminded me of the important deadlines. This was my first time traveling with this particular tour company, and she saw that I completed the necessary paperwork required by the company. A very nice bonus that resulted from her attention to detail is she realized I had traveled with a sister company and as a result, she saw that I got a small discount. Carol provided me with a travel app that contained our itinerary for the whole trip and listed optional excursions. This app turned out to be very handy during the journey. She provided last minute reminders right before the trip was to begin and then made contact as soon as the trip was over to make sure all went well and to get my feedback.

This review is way overdue - Carol helped us immeasurably with the 2-week trip we took to Southern California this past fall. She was our "voice of reason" through planning and prep, and while giving us a large number of possible options to think about for lodgings and activities, she also was able to give us great perspective and advice as we tried to work out what we really wanted most to do. She found three great hotels for us (counting the Queen Mary!) that we likely would never have found and/or thought to do, and even more great things to spend our time on. We hadn't had her arrange our flights, but when we did so and then thought something was screwed up, she very calmly helped us calm down and work through the information. I wholeheartedly recommend Carol and "7continents2c" - where I said this review is so far overdue, it's because it took us so long to kind of finish digesting all our thoughts about our trip, but basically, the things that went the most "right" were the things Carol set up, and the few things that didn't go as well were those we should have had her arranging...
