Enjoying a cruise with Royal Caribbean

From the time I was a child in the 1980s watching Mickey Mouse Club on the Disney Channel, I dreamed of visiting Walt Disney World. That dream came true as a child, and my love for traveling – especially to Disney – has only grown stronger. I can still remember the feeling of excitement and magic as we rode across the Seven Seas Lagoon aboard the ferry to Magic Kingdom.

Since that time, I’ve had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, Hawaii, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic. Some of my favorite trips have included:

• Taking my own kids to Walt Disney World
• Grand Canyon and seeing the vastness of God's creation
• Hacienda San Gabriel de Las Palmas - a hacienda that Cortes built in Mexico in the 1500s
• A small oceanfront cottage on the coast of Oahu
• Staying at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic
• Any time spent on the Gulf Coast of the Florida panhandle
• A visit to San Francisco, Napa Valley, and northern California

We live in East Tennessee near the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park with our two kids and chocolate lab.
