Group Trip Sandals Southcoast/Vow Renewal

Vow renewals are a great way to get a large group together, and Sandals is the perfect place to host a luxurious all-inclusive getaway. In January 2023 my husband and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. Since we got married at Sandals Great Exuma, we wanted to get the gang back together for another epic group trip.

Sandals South Coast is about 1.5 hours from Montego Bay Airport, however in traffic it can take up to 3 hours. The journey is worth it though I promise! If that is too long for you there are several properties under an hour from the airport. I chose South Coast because of the layout of the resort - it's perfect for large groups, we had 18 people with us.

If you have a vow renewal at Sandals it's very similar to planning a wedding. You select your venue, the type of service you want, you get a cake tasting, pick your cocktail and appetizers - and all of this is complimentary with a group of a certain size!

Sandals South Coast has 9 specialty restaurants, 7 bars - including a stunning over the water bar with hammocks to relax over the ocean. For brides, they have a stunning over the water chapel, and Over the Water Bungalows for that extra luxury experience. My husband and I splurged and stayed at the Rondoval Village, which was it's on little hut with private pool and swim up lazy river. I even brought a 5 person float in it's own suitcase to blow up and float around the lazy river with my friends.

South Coast has a plethora of activities throughout the day and a theater with exciting entertainment at night. Consider stepping off the resort with Island Routes - it's important to experience the country you are visiting. I selected the YS Falls excursion for my group and it absolutely did not disappoint. We had a guide help us navigate the falls - swam - and jumped off a cliff. Everything is optional of course, whatever your comfort level is. The guides take your phone and turn into photographers, styling you and helping you get great shots. Such a beautiful day.
