For over twenty years I served as the "unofficial" travel agent to my family and friends, so when I retired from public service, it was my husband who suggested that I make it official and become a "real" travel agent. I took his suggestion, and turned my passion for travel into my dream job, and I now spend my days making people's bucket list travel wishes come true.

My main passion is cruising, but I have discovered that every time I book a new trip for someone, whether it is an all inclusive or a flight with hotels, or maybe a trip to a NASCAR event, I find myself making mental notes on a new trip for my husband and I to try.

I have found that what started as something fun to pass the time in retirement has become a great second career that I truly love. I find myself smiling more during the day while planning someone's travels than I could have imagined. I'm never happier than when I'm "on the hunt": looking for the perfect lodging; the right combination of an outdoor weekend with a tour of Churchill Downs followed by an evening concert; finding an All-Inclusive with a swim-up suite in Xcaret, Mexico. When I find the "just right combination" for someone and it all works out: the right plans in the right price point, then I'm ecstatic. No, I'm not going on that trip, but I've made their dream a reality, and the joy that I feel is perfect. I don't just love to travel myself I love to help OTHERS travel.
