Will Medina and his team are the best! I truly enjoyed my booking/travel experience as a guest to the wedding they helped organize. From friendly email reminders to quick responses and assistance to all my needs. They truly were always there for me. They even helped me book an additional night at the resort when my airline made last minute changes to my reservation. A situation that could have been frustrating and caused additional work for me was resolved with a quick email to Will. He booked my additional night and took care of my shuttle transfers. I also misplaced my shuttle info and they were able to email me my information while I was at the airport. No wait time! Can’t recommend them enough!

Finding Will was the best thing that happened to me! Working with him was easy, fun, and he went above and beyond to help us relax. He knows better than anyone that our wedding planning experience had major ups and downs ( not his doing). Being a destination bride requires a lot of trust and patience and being able to trust someone you have not met was not easy for us, but after chatting with Will I trusted him fully. He gave us the run down of how the whole process would work, he gave us options, he allowed me to change my mind 100x ( Sorry) and sat with us to review the pros and cons of every location. He worked with our guests to book rooms and many were pleased with his service. If you select him as you travel agent I can guarantee that you will be in great hands!!

This is our second trip using Will - but our first traveling to Mexico with him. Will's attention to detail and consistent follow up, made me feel like I had to do very little additional research and left me very comfortable in preparing for this trip. As a couple, we've always been "anti-resort" - but after this trip, it's something we would consider every year with the family!

Destination Weddings Experts’ service was exceptional. We opted for the travel agent services only; however, I would recommend hiring the wedding planning services as well. Although there is a wedding coordinator at most hotels, you need someone on your team, someone to really understand the couple’s vision and bring it to life.
Although, I am a Travel Manager, I knew I had a lot on my plate and could not assist our guests with their bookings. Will and Nicole are an absolute delight. They listened to our needs and did everything in their ability to assist our guests and us. We started our wedding planning in the early stages of COVID-19. They were supportive through it all.
We are so thankful for Will and Nicole. Not only did they help us through booking travel but were also my emotional support. That meant the world to me. I am sad this planning is over. I will miss chatting with them.

Will was not only a fabulous travel agent for our destination wedding but also an amazing person to work with. He went above and beyond with making our dream wedding happen and was able to perform tasks he did not have to do. Will was not only able to assist us with our travels but was able to help our over 100 guests travel to the Dominican Republic (which was not an easy task considering over half are crazy). Although we may have caused him to grow some grey hairs over the past year, he definitely made sure we did not. For that, my wife and I thank him from the bottom of our hearts!

Will was so wonderful helping plan our dream wedding. He instantly became my best friend, and made the experience so fun! Everyone kept telling me how stressful planning is, and you just want it to be over, and in our case I never wanted it to end! Will helped put me at ease every step of the way. He was always 2 steps ahead of me, which trust me, must be his super power. Our wedding went perfect, our travel home did not. But Will was to the rescue! After our flight was cancelled out of Cancun he instantly called his contact and put us in a honeymoon suite at the Hard Rock so we didn't have to stay in a yucky motel. To make things even better, there was champagne and a sweet note from Will to make our extra last night one to remember! When we got on the airplane the next day, Will had already submitted our travel insurance form and happily we just got the check yesterday refunding us a little over half of our expenses for the cancellation. Like I said, he is always 2 steps ahead!

We were guests to our friend’s wedding. DWE had a very well wedding/vacation plan for us. Every detail was perfect. Great Resort at a great price!

Mario and his team were very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. Mario’s informational emails prior to the trip were especially useful, and aside from a couple of minor glitches, I would definitely recommend working with him. Overall regarding the trip: Transportation from the airport to the resort was disappointing. We were unable to locate the shuttle staff, and there were dozens of wedding guests walking around confused, unsure where to meet the driver. There was no clear signage or direction, which made the process frustrating after a long day of travel. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve upon arrival at Dreams Macao. Aside from being handed cool towels, no one addressed or guided us during check-in. We had paid for the Preferred experience, but this was not evident at arrival. Additionally, we were given a time-share pitch at check-in, which was not appreciated after traveling all day and waiting in the heat — at that point, all we wanted was to get to our room and freshen up. Our butler, Manuel, was top-notch and genuinely worked to enhance our stay, although we noticed that not all guests with butlers appeared to have the same experience. The resort itself was very nice, and the staff were generally friendly and accommodating. However, we had requested three double-bed rooms and were assigned three rooms with king-sized beds. We understand that room requests cannot be guaranteed, but we were hoping the odds would work in our favor and at least one room would have two beds, especially since one room was for a party of two who required separate beds. Unfortunately, this could not be accommodated, which made sleeping arrangements challenging and awkward. Drinks and food were good, the entertainment was adequate, and the beach was beautiful. If possible, I would recommend the Preferred experience — if only for access to the adults-only pool.

The accommodations were nice. Lots of sun and drinks. One improvement could be adding an itinerary of meeting, times and transportation in the room. Also alert your travelers not to pack anything valuable in their checked luggage at the airport. Returned home to find my wife's jewelry stolen.

We have never done a destination wedding before, but we had looked at the pictures and read the brochures and our expectations were high. Mario exceeded our expectations at every level. Right from the beginning, he had excellent communication. What a great idea to send multiple emails, each focusing on a single thing. Myself and my wife reached out the DWE team late 2023 for our June 2025 wedding and we’ve been connected with Mario and Nikki from the very beginning. They are responsive, detailed and professional. We had about 84 people come to our wedding and we did not have any issues with the check in process. We also had all our questions answered through the 1.5 years (and then some!) of working together. Responsiveness was our biggest concern from the beginning working with Hotels and resorts since we’ve had issues with previous companies. DWE exceeded all our expectations and then some. To sum up what it was like working with Mario and Nikki. Me and my wife noticed our airport transfer to the resort was not in the spot that was noted on one of their forms and we emailed them around 345p and by 355p they sent an email to all our wedding group notifying them of the updated location of our transport drivers. I would recommend them to everyone!

From the start Mario Lopez and his team has been amazing to work with. We had many video chats and exchanged many messages on all the details of the wedding, giving his opinions when we were unsure. Given every resort has their different set of rules, Mario always made sure our questions were answered no matter how long it took for the resort to get back to him. Using his services was very helpful in this planning process. The wedding website, Appy Couple, was very easy to navigate for my guests and explained in detail everything about the property we were staying at and all the details of the rooms and the payment plans. Also, the Trello app was very useful for us in figuring out what we needed to get done at what point in time. The save the dates were included in his service and was a plus that we didn’t need to worry about that extra expense. Having the transfers be private and be included in the room price was a great feature for my guests to make their traveling experience easier.

Overall I would say the experience was mostly seamless. My only concern during was being confused as to why the particular agent was Mario Lopez but most of correspondences occurred between myself and Nicole Sanders. That little bit was confusing at first but other than thar everything was good. I liked how everything was taken care of for me and all I practically had to do was show up for the trip.

Mario was always so attentive! We planned a destination wedding with 70 guests and everyone was absolutely so happy with their accommodations. I loved that Mario was so quick to reply anytime I had a question and he was so accommodating even on the days when I would as 10 questions. He always went out of his way to reply promptly and help us with the best experience for our friends and family. I would 100 percent recommend Destination wedding experts to anyone planning a destination wedding! We went in blindly choosing our hotel and really just relied on DWEs recommendations and the exceeded my expectations, our transportation/ accommodations were perfect and I couldn’t ask for a more amazing experience!

Hiring DWE was the best decision and investment we could have made in dreaming of a perfect destination wedding.

Our first choice of venue had a fire about 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Mario and team were able to contract what turned out to be an even better resort to honor our contract at the 11th hour, and deliver our dream wedding.

The team was available from the beginning to guide us and answer questions as well as alleviate all the pressure and stress during the last few weeks.

If you're dreaming of a perfect destination wedding, there is no way you could do better or ask for more than what the team at DWE delivered.

Both Mario and Will were absolutely amazing in coordinating and curating our trip experience. We had the wedding of our dreams! The process with Mario of Destination Weddings Expert and his team was completely flawless. Mario made himself available for every call. He understood our vision and made it happen. People often think that they can skip the wedding planner and just do it with the resorts on site coordinator. That for us would have been catastrophic. The resort we booked a year prior to our wedding had a fire 5 weeks before our wedding. The resorts suggestion was to change our date. Our guests had their airline tickets purchased and vacation time scheduled. Mario sprang into action calling, emailing, calling in favors, doing whatever it took. He found us a phenomenal new location and due to his relationship with the resort, they honored our original date and room rates so there was no inconvenience to our guests. Mario kept our guests well informed about everything from what travel documents were needed, the weather, etc. We had the perfect wedding all thanks to Mario!

THE most efficient, wonderful, personable, adorable human being! I was a guest at this wedding and Mario constantly updated us with very clear instructions as far as what to expect and how to navigate the airport. I felt extremely comfortable knowing Mario had our best interests as priority!

ZERO complaints about working with Will and his team at Destination Weddings Expert, LLC. From day one the process was seamless. I was a guests for an 08/11/2022 wedding at Dreams Macao in Punta Cana. Will's services allowed us guest to pay in monthly installments and choose from an array of rooms. After the booking was complete, we received numerous emails about how to prepare for our trip, what to bring, what to expect, and how to arrange for transport. There was no need to ever call his office because all info provided in emails was clear as day. I would 100% recommend to any wedding party or large group.

I am so glad my wedding venue recommended Will to take care of our travels for our destination wedding in Punta Cana, DR. He was so much more than just a TA. In fact Will’s name seemed to be the only one that guests knew. Will and Nikki were great prior to the actual wedding - there were multiple emails keeping us informed - Will kind of disappeared after we arrived in Mexico and I would have liked to have been reminded of the online form to be completed prior to traveling back home - created a bit of a "rush" at the airport. Also would have been nice if we had known the club wasn't open for the post wedding party

I was attending a wedding and didn't have the pleasure of choosing where I got to vacation. It didn't matter, Will set me up in no time and made the trip easy. Even better, he messaged me during my layover to ask how the travel was going. I rested easy knowing that if any kind of hiccup were to arise he would have fixed it in a pinch. Will is going to be planning our trips from now on!

You really can tell that Will puts a lot of passion into planning vacations. My husband and I spent a week in Puerto Vallerta, after debating multiple locations on a specific budget. We also told Will we desired to have an amazing view, be close to the beach and most importantly, good food. Will booked us a stay at the Hyatt Ziva and we could not have been happier. Not only did we stay within budget, but our resort exceeded our expectations. Our 9th floor room overlooked the Pacific, the staff was phenomenal, and the food was outstanding. Will also made himself available at all hours of the day via phone for any hiccups we would encounter (which we didn't). If you're looking for a romantic get away, Will is the person to work with! We can't wait to take another vacation and have it planned stress free!

So we booked a vacation through Will for a family member's wedding. We had a few issues at that resort during the stay. During the process, we kept in close contact with Will, who constantly was calling the resort to get some resolution on our issues. The resort acknowledged the issues at the end of the stay, but after we left, I figured that there was little that would be done to compensate us. But Will continued to fight for us. He was our advocate and kept on top of this issue. At the end, we felt fairly compensated and even visited a sister resort of the one that we initially stayed at, and had an amazing trip. Not only did we feel justified in our issues, but our impression on this resort chain changed with our most recent experience. I cannot recommend Will enough. If you are planning a destination wedding, Will will assist your guests and make sure that they are taken care of.

Will was thorough, attentive, and accessible. Biggest thing you want in a travel agent is someone who can make your vision better and make it a reality. Will was able to work closely with us on a vision and then had all the skills to make it happen just the way we wanted it to.

Planning a trip with little ones with different ages and interests is very hard. Will gave us his top 3 options and made sure all three kids plus us parents would be satisfied. He also researched any suggestions we brought up and gave us his honest opinion. Not only did everyone have an amazing time but my husband (who was against spending money on a luxury trip) is already buying things for our next trip. He now wants to make it a semi-annual thing lol! We attempted researching our own prices and hotels but with a busy schedule and mom duties it was beginning to get very frustrating. I rate Will a 5. He was very professional and was available to answer all my questions. The best part is exactly what he said, is exactly what happened. From Orlando to Mexico and back, literally every detail matched what we discussed. That's a hard quality to find now days.

Will was very helpful and patient with our group, being that hispanics are notorious for doing everything last minute he was more than accommodating with me when I had those last minute questions.
I liked that we had someone do everything for us that made it easier he gave us the options all we had to do was pick them and just pay for it. Hopefully we could work with him in the near future he was an awesome person and it was helpful that he spoke English & Spanish for some of our family members that's only spoke one or the other

Just returned from a perfect weekend in NYC with my daughter and her local theater group.
