About Me

Overlooking Nice
Overlooking Nice

Every time I’m in the South of France, my husband and I have a conversation about our reality of moving there. From the pastel charm of Menton to the lively streets of Marseille, the South of France invites you to slow down, take in your surroundings, and truly enjoy the moment.

We love to spend our mornings at the beach or on a boat, and our afternoons wandering through villages designed to stroll and explore; quiet, beautiful, and full of character. I dream of having that perfect two-bedroom apartment above the café. The one with the striped awning and rows of little tables spilling out onto the cobblestone street.

One of the things I love most about traveling through the South of France is how walkable and safe everything feels, especially in the smaller towns. My 10-year-old daughter loves her independence when in these old towns. She proudly walks to the markets on her own to pick out pastries, or she’ll offer to grab bread and cheese for the family, as an excuse to visit the patisseries solo. It’s fun to watch kids embrace where they are.

The food is my heaven. Being in France means that the mornings should begin with a flakey pastry and a café au lait. I love the convenience of walking past a café that has pre-made baguette sandwiches or pastries. This option is perfect when needing a quick bite. I can’t get enough of the “sandwich au thon,” to the point that I start to crave them. The seafood is exceptional. Oysters that are so sweet and meaty to beautiful fish fillets and perfect scampi dishes. You don’t have to be at a fancy restaurant to enjoy these delicacies either, because this high quality food is everywhere.

And then there are the harbors; Nice, Antibes, Monaco, and Cannes. All of these cities have marina’s lined with jaw-dropping yachts. We always end up playing the same game: “Which one would you take?” It’s impossible not to gawk a little and dream a lot. But don't be fooled. Renting a boat for the day, an overnight or even a week is certainly easy to do, and reasonably affordable.

The South of France is not just the coastal cities. There are so many other fabulous places to explore. The Friday market in Valbonne is one of those year-round treasures that feels like a local secret. It’s full of vibrant produce, handmade goods, and the kind of energy that makes you want to linger. Mougins, on the other hand, is a haven for art lovers. Its galleries are tucked into winding streets, each one offering something unique and inspiring. These off-the-beaten-path spots are what make the South of France feel so personal and rich. You’re not just sightseeing, you’re discovering.

Staying in Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, or Avignon gives you access to three very different but equally captivating experiences. Aix is elegant and full of fountains, with a relaxed pace and beautiful architecture. Marseille brings a vibrant, multicultural energy and a stunning coastline. Avignon is an absolute must, whether you're coming from Aix, Marseille, or the coast, its history, energy, and architecture are unforgettable. Each city offers its own rhythm, and together they form the heartbeat of Provence.

The mix of elegance and ease in the South of France is irresistible. Whether you're enjoying a Hugo Sprits one afternoon at a waterfront café, exploring the old town’s, shopping at boutiques, or embracing local history, the South of France makes me wish this was home.

Reach out for help with your next vacation to La Cote D’Azur. I’m happy to share all of my insight and secrets.

Caroline Nolan made this trip!!
Reviewed By David S. - Las Vegas, NV | Traveled to Whistler ~ British Columbia ~ Canada
Caroline's attention to detail is second to none. I don't know how I have been traveling for most of my life without her help. From free room upgrades to having someone with a sign with my name on it waiting for me as I exited the airport, this was hands down the easiest and best travel experience I have ever had. Caroline was always available when I had questions, which was not too often because her emails were so detailed, she answered my questions before I even knew what to ask for. She is clearly an expert in her field, and is what makes the difference between a good trip and a truly exceptional one. I don't settle for second best, and that's why I will always use Caroline when booking anything in the future. She just makes my life easier and better. And that's a commodity I do not take for granted!!!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Best Honeymoon!
Reviewed By Cole H - Dallas, Texas | Traveled to Greece | Europe
We could not give Caroline a higher recommendation. This is the second “major” trip she has planned for us, and both were a near flawless experience. She has never steered us wrong. On both trips I had my mind made up on certain things going into the planning but she convinced me otherwise and I am so glad she did. Caroline really did know best and at the end of each trip we were so glad we made the changes she suggested as they made for a much better overall experience. She is responsive and extremely helpful before, during, and after the trip. There is no doubt we will continue to use her for all our future travel planning needs. We can’t thank her enough for all the help she has been.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Magnificent travel agent
Reviewed By Sandra H. - Clyde Hill, WA | Traveled to Italy ~ Europe
Caroline was exactly who our group of 6 needed as we planned our trip to Italy. I came to her with an outline of where we wanted to go and the dates we wanted to go, and after some consultation back and forth she really helped me and our group get a spectacular itinerary together. She had some very thoughtful insights about the benefit of staying in one place for a few nights rather than our original thought of a new city and hotel each night. Her lodging choices were lovely and the excursions she planned for us were so enjoyable. Her knowledge of the region and the novel ideas of how to take in the cities resulted in an unforgettable trip. I also enjoyed working with her throughout the process. All six of us are looking forward to working with Caroline on future trips, whether it is the group of us or just traveling as couples. She is magnificent!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Awesome AmaWaterways Cruise
Reviewed By Kathleen C - New York, NY | Traveled to Europe
Caroline was wonderful to work with while planning our AmaWaterways Captivating Rhine cruise. She helped us choose the perfect itinerary and even built out a couple of days before and after the cruise to continue exploring. Everything felt smooth and well organized from start to finish. Because of her, we were able to just relax and enjoy the experience.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Sandals Wedding
Reviewed By Katherine G. - Atlanta, GA | Traveled to Jamaica | Caribbean
Caroline made the entire experience of planning our Sandals wedding feel effortless from start to finish. We had originally chosen Sandals Montego Bay for our wedding, but after Hurricane Rafael last November forced the resort to close through May 2026, we suddenly had to pivot to a new plan. Caroline stepped in immediately, kept me calm, and handled everything with such confidence and care. Because of her efforts, we were even able to keep the same wedding dates at Sandals Ochi, which meant so much to us and our guests who had already booked their flights and rooms. From the very beginning, she understood exactly what we were looking for and guided us to the perfect fit. Her communication was always clear, timely, and thoughtful, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout the process. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how easy and seamless it was to work with her as well. We truly felt taken care of every step of the way and could not have asked for a better travel advisor.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
