About Me

Nice!
Nice!

Visiting France is like stepping into a living masterpiece; each city or region tells a story of history, elegance, and natural beauty (and delicious food and wine!).

I love to create personalized itineraries for enriching journeys that go beyond the ordinary, creating lasting memories. Exploring each city and region will deepen your appreciation for France’s beauty and leave an indelible mark on your heart.

Paris. Timeless charm and iconic landmarks. Effortlessly blending history and modernity. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, admiring Impressionist masterpieces at Musée d'Orsay, exploring sculpted wonders at the Rodin Museum. Sunset cruises on the Seine River. Montmartre and the white-domed Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur! You can’t miss the Pain Aux Raisins at Boulangerie Mamiche! (Tasting note: the Tourte de Seigle is ridiculous!)

Oh, Le Marais! One of my favorite neighborhoods! Discover hidden courtyards, art galleries and chic boutiques wandering down Le Marais’ cobblestone streets. (I get compliments on the leather bag I bought there.) Once in Paris for Christmas, I sat for hours at Les Deux Magots with my vin chaud and cheese plate, marveling at Place Saint Germain des Prés. And no Paris visit is complete without the delicate perfection of Ladurée macarons. (Tasting note: Blackcurrant Violet!) Or chocolate at Angelina Paris, a heavenly experience!

Wandering Versailles’s magnificent halls and manicured gardens took me to the era of kings and queens. Petit Trianon, the spectacular gardens Mary Antoinette commissioned, is an experience like no other!

The simplicity of the high-speed train to Nice, as the scenery outside your window transforms from bustling capital to picturesque French countryside. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the bustling urbanity of Paris to the Mediterranean allure of Nice in just over five hours.

I can’t get enough of Nice, that pictorial city nestled on the azure shores of the Mediterranean. (Check out my Nice travel story and photo album!) The Promenade des Anglais. Vieux Nice 's(the Old Town) colorful markets and historic charm. Ice cream at Fenocchio?!? Yes, please! I go there daily to “try” a new flavor (let's call it research!).

Day trip to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, which has inspired famous artists, painters, writers and poets by its charm.

Lyon is the gastronomic capital of France. From traditional bouchons serving Lyonnais specialties to vibrant indoor markets, Lyon is a haven for a food enthusiast like me. (Tasting note: Notre Mason for a typical Lyonnaise lunch.) Exploring the traboules (hidden passageways that wind through Lyon) gives your visit a touch of mystery.

I have blissfully walked in Marseille's historic Vieux-Port. Vibrant street life and seafood markets serve you Mediterranean authenticity. Panoramic views of the city. The Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde is a must-see.

Nestled in the French Alps,  Chamonix is a haven for winter skiing and summer hiking. Ride the Aiguille du Midi cable car for breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain.

Cannes, renowned for its film festival, exudes sophistication. The palm-lined Croisette, upscale boutiques, golden beaches, and the Film Festival Palace strolling along the yacht-filled harbor add a touch of cinematic charm.

I love stepping back in time in Aix-en-Provence, with its charming streets and elegant architecture. (Stay at Château de la Gaude. It sits on a wine making estate!) The Cours Mirabeau, lined with plane trees and fountains, is the only way to savor the Provencal way of life.

Wine lovers like me will love Bordeaux, which is surrounded by renowned vineyards. Tasting the world-class wine in historic cellars. A connoisseur's delight! You can’t miss Saint-Emilion, an enchanting medieval village in the heart of Bordeaux. The Garonne River from the rooftop bar at Mama Shelter Bordeaux creates a backdrop of grandeur.

And for you amusement park enthusiasts, France has your back! Parc Astérix brought Astérix and Obélix, the beloved French comic book characters of my youth, to life in a unique theme park. It is a combination of humor, history, and thrilling rides. I rode Goudurix, a multi-looping roller coaster, and the immersive dark ride, Oxygénarium half a dozen times!

As you enter Disneyland Paris, Sleeping Beauty Castle welcomes you to a world where fairy tales come to life. Smaller than the American parks but not lacking in charm or Ratatouille: The Adventure, the park's crown jewel. A cool, immersive ride for this fan of Pixar's Ratatouille!

Can you tell how much I love France?! From the sophistication of Paris to the sun-soaked shores of Nice, the alpine majesty of Chamonix to the vineyard-covered landscapes of Bordeaux, every stop stands on its own. Ready for you to discover!

Imagine the trips we will design together. Unique, enchanting experiences!

France beckons with open arms.

I can’t wait to share its timeless allure with you!

Great Spanish Vacation
Reviewed By Aaron - Mequon, Wisconsin | Traveled to Spain ~ Europe
Christopher’s recommendations really felt like insider tips. Because he lived in Madrid, I ended up doing things I probably would have missed out on. Loved shopping at El Rastro Flea Market (it’s huge!). And, Toledo was the perfect day excursion. After a few packed days in Barcelona, Christopher sent me to Cadeques, which was one of my favorite parts of the trip, and wasn't on my radar. The beach is beautiful and the food is out of this world. Had a great time touring Dali's house, too. Christopher knows Spain! I was worried about all the details but he was patient and knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions. I really appreciated how he incorporated my many interests into the trip. All in all a pretty stress-free experience. Highly recommend Christopher if you’re planning a trip to Spain!

We loved Turkey!
Reviewed By Christine - San Francisco | Traveled to Turkey | Europe
It was a terrific trip. We really had no issues. All of our transfers were smooth. The Ephesus tour was interesting. Our Topkapi Palace and Bosphorus ferry tour guides were absolute stars. The hotels were good - Arcadia Blue is convenient, comfortable and had good service. Altin Yunus was really fun. It had a non-American vibe that made it an adventure and a cultural immersion experience for us. Thank you for your help, Christopher! We really enjoyed the trip!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Wife and I hadn't taken a good vacation alone in a while. Was referred to Christopher by a friend. Emailed a general idea of what we were looking for and where. Within a few days we received several great ideas. He provided detailed descriptions and quotes, and answered all my questions promptly. Booking the trip was simple. Just returned from our five night stay in the Bahamas and we couldn't be happier. Will be using Christopher again for our next trip!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

    Overall Perfect Honeymoon!!!
My experience working with Chris was truly outstanding. As it was our first vacation together as a couple—and my first time leaving the country—I was feeling completely overwhelmed trying to plan our honeymoon. After doing research on my own, I was quickly connected with Chris, and from that moment, everything fell into place. I shared with Chris exactly what we were looking for and our budget, and he worked magic to make it happen. He made sure all credits were applied, answered every question I had, and handled all the details for us. The entire process was seamless and stress-free. We’ve just returned from our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The resort was perfect for us—exactly what we had envisioned. We are so grateful for Chris' expertise and support throughout the entire process. His help truly made all the difference, and we couldn’t be more appreciative!

    Trip of a lifetime!
My husband and I and our two college aged children did a two week excursion through Italy (December 2024). Christopher listened to all of our wants and needs and put together our perfect family vacation. We love to travel and explore and learn new things. It was awesome having a different tour every day. All of our guides were extremely knowledgeable about the history and about the art wherever we were. We really liked having our own car and driver pick us up at airports and train stations and for our little day trips. Christopher spoiled us for future vacations?!?
