Meals my mother cooked that defined my childhood: mouth-watering köftes, perfectly wrapped in dolmas, delightful mezze, and Turkish delight sweets and delicious baklava! Be sure to sip on traditional Turkish tea or indulge in some strong Turkish coffee while enjoying the warm hospitality of the locals. (Maybe even indulge in a little tasseography and have your coffee grounds read. Hope the coffee grains form a pile because that means money is coming your way!)
