One of my favorite destinations is Bermuda. That's where my husband I went on our honeymoon and we returned there by sea and by air more times than I can remember. Their beaches are beautiful, the people are welcoming and friendly and for people in the Northeast, it's easy to sail from NY/NJ. For one of our latest trips, we sailed from London to Bergen, Norway, to the Shetland Islands and Iceland, where we crossed the Arctic Circle and saw the Northern Lights - from the deck of our cruise ship. We then sailed across the Atlantic and ported in Newfoundland, Canada and them disembarked in New York. A number of clients booked the same itinerary after hearing about our experience. In fact, the success of any vacation almost always depends on the experience of the travel agent. We are known for our personal service, in-depth knowledge and follow-through. We care about getting you on the right cruise line, the right ship and to the right destination for your needs. We also manage the process, offer travel insurance and work with the cruise lines in the event of cancellation or other issue. One client was so happy on the ship that she booked two more while onboard. The cruise counselor, it turned out, booked the wrong cabins, didn’t put the deposit on the right reservation (there were 3 cabins) and didn’t cancel their second cruise to Europe when they said they would. On behalf of my client, I called the cruise line, and in 10 minutes had cancelled the Europe cruise, straightened out the deposits and verified the proper reservations for their next cruise. Some people may consider that service but it's just what we do. I want to make sure my clients enjoy traveling as much as I do.
