I'm Kaelana 'Kae' Mong and I'm located in Kansas City, Missouri! Ironically, I stumbled into the travel industry on accident. What a wonderful accident it's been!

I began my career in travel in 2023 as a summer job in between semesters at college. I studied abroad in London city center with Shakespeare's Globe Theater for 4 months and knew I'd be a perfect fit at CHKC. Post graduation, I kept working vacation support for Cruise Holidays and then moved to Orlando, FL with an internship with Disney's Live Entertainment but when no job offers came rolling in, I wrote a letter to our owners asking for full time employment and moved back home. The position created for me caused me to discover a different passion for travel I never knew I had. While at Cruise Holidays I have worked in our group department and I have also assisted my mother who was an existing travel counselor. Those positions have given me the knowledge and the confidence to branch out and become a travel counselor myself. I have learned so much over the years and have had the opportunity to travel to some amazing places, scratching off my bucket list. To date, some of my favorite destinations include London, Le Mont St Michel, the Scottish Highlands, the Hawaiian Islands, and Athens!

I've heard it said, "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page" and I couldn't agree more! My goal as your travel advisor is to be YOUR biggest advocate and help to create memories you’ll remember for a lifetime.
