A Greek Odyssey from Santorini to the Aegean. They say you don’t just visit Greece; you feel it. This past season, I had the pleasure of escorting a small group through the land of blue domes and ancient myths, and let’s just say—the 2027 reunion is already booking up for a reason!
Part 1: The Oia "Pre-Stay" We kicked things off in Oia, Santorini, where the world slows down. To truly see the island, I curated private ATV tours that took us off the beaten path and into the heart of the caldera views. We spent our afternoons sipping Assyrtiko at local wineries and capped off the stay with a sunset catamaran cruise. There is nothing quite like watching the Aegean sun dip below the horizon from the water—it was pure, unfiltered magic.
Part 2: The Pulse of Athens Before hitting the sea, we immersed ourselves in the "Old World." From the marble heights of the Acropolis to the sharp precision of the Changing of the Guard, Athens delivered on every historical promise. It was the perfect bridge between our island retreat and our upcoming voyage.
Part 3: Sailing with Celestyal~We then boarded our Celestyal Cruise for a week of island hopping. While we loved the classic stops, the true "dark horse" was Kusadasi. Walking the ancient pathway to Ephesus and visiting the House of the Virgin Mary was an emotional, "wow" moment that caught us all by surprise. The Game-Changer: The Overnight Stays~The real secret to this trip? Overnights in Santorini and Mykonos. While the massive mega-ships sailed away in the afternoon, we stayed behind. We watched the streets clear, the boutiques open up, and the islands reclaim their quiet charm. Having a late-night dinner and watching the sunset without the crowds made us feel like locals rather than tourists. Join Us for the Encore! This trip was a true Mamma Mia moment—full of laughter, dancing, and breathtaking views. We’re doing it all again in 2027, and the original crew is already hopping back on board.
Will you be joining the family next time?
