Life Changing Machu Picchu!
I have journey to Machu Picchu by starting in Lima, Peru on to Cusco to acclimate to the altitude and then by train down the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu.
I was fortunate to be able to visit in the afternoon and then again the next morning.
On my way through the Sacred Valley, I also stopped at an alpaca center, at Chincheros to learn about weaving, and to see the ruins at Ollantaytambo and Sacsayhuaman.
