I have been planning international and domestic vacations for friends and family since 2010.  In 2023, I finally dove into my career as a Travel Advisor with American Discount Cruises and Travel.  I specialize in Cruises, however I really enjoy working on land vacations and putting together the perfect itinerary, or finding a tour that meets my clients needs.  Some destinations I have extensive personal experience in is Puerto Rico, Ireland, Norway/Arctic Circle and Ecuador/The Galapagos.

We started using Amanda after learning that our independent TA was holding back incentives. Amanda takes care of us with OBC and/or rebates that we weren’t getting before. She is very responsive anytime I have a question. She is our go-to travel agent and we have recommended her to several others. Luckily, we haven’t had any major issues yet but I’m sure she will be there if we need her. It also helps to have the backing of the organization behind her.

ALLOWS US TO PLAN AND BOOK - TRANSFER TO TA FOR BENEFITS

We started using Amanda for our MSC Yacht Club and Celebrity Retreat sailings as we learned from other cruisers that "we can still plan our own cruise - research, check itinerary, get preferred staterooms, etc." with the cruise line and Transfer the booking to Amanda. From there, she checks to make sure we received our loyalty status discount, advance booking discount, etc. reviewing the cruise line invoice. She provides us, normally, with a significant OBC or cruise discount, depending on the cruise line. For now, we were honest that that is all we wanted. We know in the future we might need a bit more help; but we're still pretty savvy and have learned a lot from so many other cruisers and social media (FB specific lines and ships). We've used Amanda for Caribbean, Transatlantic and Mediterranean cruises with MSC in the Yacht Club and Celebrity in the Retreat.

We’ve booked numerous cruises with Amanda over the years and she’s our go-to travel agent. She’s quick to respond and never makes me feel like I’m imposing or asking too many questions (and I ask a lot!). I trust that she will advocate for us when/if she needs to contact the cruise-lines on our behalf and know that she will help us find the best deal. Amanda is fantastic!
