I’ve always believed that the journey matters just as much as the destination. That belief is what led me into the travel industry, and it started long before I ever stepped onto a cruise ship.

Like just about everyone who finds their way into travel, my love for exploring began early. I grew up in a big state, in a family that didn’t have a lot of extra money, but what we did have was a car, a sense of adventure, and parents willing to load it up. My younger brother, my older brother, and I would pile in, and off we’d go on road trips that felt endless and exciting all at once. The best part? We rarely knew where we were headed. And honestly, I didn’t care. All I wanted was the window seat, watching the world roll by.

Fast forward to adulthood, and not much has changed. I still want that window seat, especially on a plane. I still love the journey as much as the destination. I enjoy air travel, immersing myself in new places, and soaking in different cultures, but along the way, I discovered something that truly stole my heart: cruising. On a cruise, I’m still that little girl gazing out the window, only now the view is endless ocean. You’ll find me on a balcony, or at the back of the ship watching the wake, completely mesmerized by the rhythm, beauty, and sounds of the sea.

Cruising, for me, isn’t just about visiting places; it’s about the experience as a whole. The ship itself becomes part of the destination. I love waking up in a new country, a new culture, or a new port almost every morning. Time at sea is my version of paradise.

I’ll admit it, I’m a bit of a culture junkie. While I love a beautiful beach as much as anyone, I’m equally drawn to the history, stories, and traditions of the places I visit. I love learning why a destination is the way it is, not just what it looks like. That passion is what ultimately led me into the travel industry. Long before this became my profession, I was already planning trips for family and friends. I didn’t just book reservations. I have built experiences, I have created itineraries, personalized schedules, and trips tailored to the traveler, not the trend. Without realizing it at the time, I was developing the exact skills needed to become a successful Cruise Advisor.

I won’t pretend to have decades of cruise experience, but what I may lack in years, I more than make up for in dedication and knowledge. I study cruise lines, ships, ports of call, and excursions because I want every client’s trip to be as amazing as I expect my own to be. My goal is for clients to enjoy the high-energy, fun on board and discover those peaceful, hidden corners that exist even on the busiest ships. Cruising is so much more than beaches. It’s cooking classes with local chefs, dancing with locals, learning traditions, and experiencing destinations in ways many travelers never consider. You should never be bored on a cruise unless you want to be. And if you’re not sure what kind of cruise fits your style, that’s where I come in.
