A new adventure

Thomas recently arranged a cruise for us on the Snake and Columbia rivers, with American Cruise Lines. It was a great adventure! We saw beautiful country, navigated through deep locks, and ate ourselves silly. Happy hour was as happy as could be and the unique entertainment had us tapping our toes. The staff was as accommodating and the staterooms were comfortable. We made many new friends and connected with old ones. Great cruise Thomas! Thank you for handling all the details so we could just enjoy!

Smooth and seamless - best trip!

We have travelled a lot over the years with our daughters. They say our trip to Costa Rica is at the top of the list. The Parador Resort exceeded our expectations!! The staff, the food, the rooms, the pools- all top notch. The monkeys and sloths were a bonus. Long drive to get there, but worth it! Tim did a great job setting everything up for us. I’m. Gluten free and has zero issues the entire trip.

I didn’t think I needed a Travel Agent

I hadn’t used a Travel Agent in years; I didn’t think I needed one. I didn’t realize how wrong I was until a friend introduced me to Thomas. It started with a Viking discount code I wasn’t able to access that he was able to apply for my friend, and then for me. It didn’t stop there. Thom monitored the trip right up to the payment date to insure we were getting the best offer available. When I had questions, Thom had answers. Thom brought we peace of mind.

European Adventures

We traveled to Rome and took a Viking Rhine River Cruise. We had not been to Europe before and were kind of lost at what to do. Thom helped us plan our excursions, provided hotel choices, booked our air travel, and responded to emails promptly. He provided great recommendations as he's been on the Rhine River Cruise himself. Best trip ever!

Thomas was very helpful, friendly, responsive, and professional from our first contact to our return! Early on, we met in person to discuss the trip we had in mind and ask all the questions about the ships and possible excursions, etc. Because Thom had been on a Viking cruise he was able to answer all of our questions and then some! Alaska - the last wilderness

Fabulous Family Alaska Cruise

Thomas gave us amazing service start to finish! We were a group of 23 extended family members whose trip Thom coordinated flawlessly. He got us the best rates, and made sure we were aware of special fares for additional family in each cabin. He reserved blocks of rooms so we had our choice of location (we chose a mini-suite close to the elevators and Thom made sure we were on the starboard side so we had a land view.) Our entire group received progressive emails advising us of what we needed to do when to assure that our arrangements were accurate and complete. When we ran into glitches, Thom was right there to help us unravel them. When we had questions or needed help, he responded in a very timely manner and always helped.
We couldn’t be more pleased with our travel experience using Thomas Wierenga of Dutchmen vacations.

Our most memorable family trip!

Thomas made all the arrangements for our cruise, including flights, excursions, and a post trip. He held my hand through the entire process since this was our first cruise. When one of our flights was canceled enroute, he provided the resources we needed to make our connections so we arrived before our ship sailed.
He was always patient and friendly and went the extra mile to be sure we were well cared for in every area of our trip. He did the same for each of my siblings and their spouses. We couldn't have asked for finer service through the entire process!
I recommend Thomas highly and will certainly use his services for our travel in the future!

The most amazing New England trip

Thom is so good at planning out every detail! He is always searching for the best possible deal and the most bang for your buck. Even when you think he’s found the best price, he’s still looking for a better one.
Our trip included multiple hotel bookings, excursions, car rental, and travel via plane and train. Thom had expertly planned everything out within a reasonable budget, and yet still left us plenty of room for spur of the moment activities and simply enjoying the scenery.
